Yasmin Lee (born June 3, 1983) is a transgender pornographic film actress[2] and model. She appeared in the film The Hangover Part II as Kimmy.
Lee is of Thai, Cambodian and Chinese heritage. She was born into a family of Cambodian refugees.[3] Her parents moved from Thailand to the Philippines before finally settling down in Orange County, California.[citation needed] She joined the U.S. Navy at age 18 but left soon after due to sexuality-based harassment to pursue a career as a drag entertainer and make-up artist.[4] She worked as a make-up artist for Hollywood actresses and music video sets.[5] After beginning to transition, she left her job as a make-up artist due to fear of transphobic discrimination and began work as an assistant on pornography sets.[citation needed] She then worked as a casting director on adult films until she took the place of a woman who did not show up and began her career as an actor in adult films.[citation needed] She has twice been nominated for an AVN Award for her work in transsexual pornography.[citation needed]
In January 2010, Lee announced that she was going to have two surgeries in 2010 – one for an enhanced breast-cup size and another for circumcision.[6]
A regular performer at Kink.com, she won in 2011 the "Kinkiest TGirl Domme" Award.[1][7]
She made her way into mainstream roles with special appearances on various TV shows, including The Maury Povich Show and The Tyra Banks Show.[citation needed] Additionally, she has acted in a few non-pornographic films, such as the 2011 horror film Red Ice and the 2011 comedy The Hangover Part II.[8] She also featured in romantic movie Loves Me, Loves Me Not in 2019.[9]
Lee is also an active member of the American Civil Liberties Union and takes part in events related to LGBT rights.[10][11]
