is the stator, but if you can figure out what coil in the stator went bad you might be able to solder a cheaper one on rather then buy a whole new stator, it cost me $25 to solder a new coil in a stator once, compared to buying a whole stator for $100 or what ever it was at the time for the big red check your timing as described if it checks out ok . 1 ohms and according to the service manual it is to be 0 ohms Details about Stator for Yamaha Warrior 350 YFM350X 4WD 1987 Atv Magneto .
Turns out the pickup is shot so I put a brand new stator in and then still no spark
