(NASDAQ:AMGN) announced new data at the American Diabetes Association 86th Scientific Sessions, including Phase 3 VESALIUS-CV subgroup results for Repatha in patients with high-risk diabetes and elevated LDL-C without prior heart attack or stroke. In an analysis of 6,002 patients, Repatha, when added to statins or other LDL-C-lowering therapies, reduced the risk of the composite primary endpoint of coronary heart disease death, myocardial infarction, or ischemic stroke by 29% compared with placebo.
