My heritage was my sense of myself as a "fat person"... not quite worthy of beauty & love. Feeling deep pains as I write this... but today is the day I fight back & say "It's OK to be fat"... It's beautiful if you feel beautiful inside, if you are loved deeply by a wonderful man & if you love yourself enough to forgive yourself for being "fat"...
I think these photos of myself are full of love & beauty... that's how I feel about [ME]... today.

I did four studies based on The Ford GT's proportions. I started by adapting the 1967 Eldorado to a mid-engine. I grew restless with this one and never finished it.

hard to imagine. I married this guy and this was his house. We drove to it and then I flew back to florida and we broke up. He was mentally ill. Too bad. It did bother me for awhile but I got over it.
Her son has done tremendously at his charter school and has pride in his accomplishments. He's proud of his mamma being so positive. I attended the rallies this summer for George Floyd and BLM. There I met some outstanding mothers who stand up for the rights of others as well as their right to be the size they are.
This young mother, Tareema, and I had a great talk about our lives and values.
:::: Two years ago I stopped adding to my site on successful large mothers. I had just lost my job at the PBA (Positive Body Awareness) Center, a therapy practice advocating body size acceptance rather than dieting. I felt that all my work had been lost. Recently, I've connected with the list again and although the center is now closed, their work--our work--goes on.

There's always some discussion about what constitutes the best fat woman. For me, this is her. I know her--moderately--and my heart skipped a beat when she and her mom showed up as part of a photo shoot.
