Adventure Time
Looking back, an element of the show I feel is one of its major strengths, is the fact that most of the main cast are adults.
Think back, by the end, Finn, Flame Princess, and LSP are the only teens still participating on the plot.
Not to mention, by the then, even Finn has grown into an adult, which I consider happens after he "kills" Fern.

I want to take a second to mention my personal satisfaction with a specific character arc.

Here's the thing, obviously I loved the Islands miniseries. But even though it was better that I expected, I was ready to be surprised by Finn and the humans' story; this is the main character dang it, they couldn't afford to blow it up.

What I was really not prepared for... was the Lemon People subplot. All I knew after episode one (an accidental spoiler by trying to double check the voice actor) was that there was going to be more than one Lemongrab, and that they were going to... fusion in some way?

Well, again, if not for the fact that I know future seasons will build on a lot of these, I don't think I would have ever watched this show.
Don't get me wrong, it's good, but even now, it's still kinda too aimless for my taste. And yeah, we already got one episode that delves into the "what's with the humans" subplot, but that wouldn't have been enough for me.
And yeah, Star Vs also starts aimless, but the notion of bigger stuff happening in the background also come a lot earlier in the show.

That said, season 2 is definitely overall better that season one. I think it strikes a better balance between telling interesting self-contained st

I tried several times to get into AT; never managed to do it.
Even knowing that "it gets better later" wasn't enough. And the answer to "from where should I watch?" is always answered by the fans as "from the beginning".

But now, thanks to the magic of Youtube, I got spoiled BIG TIME, by watching a Bubbeline compilation. Fucking great stuff. Then I watched those episodes up except the finale. And then, while randomly watching Marceline clips, I came across "I remember you". Only then. Only after that massive emotional beat-down, I decide "you know what, I'll give it another try".

Also, while it's a little choppy and unreliable, my old disk CAN still be read, so I'm working on salvaging my old files (HURRAY).
So, setting up my programs and saving the files will take all day, but only loosing two days of work for a PC breakdown is a miracle. So I'm in one hell of a good mood!
Aaaaaaaand my computer died. Hardware malfunction- the hard drive got busted.
Gonna cost me a pretty penny to fix, though fortunately it'll quick. Should be ready tomorrow but I'm gonna have to set all my operation from scratch in the new drive.
Also I'm gonna have to pray to the stars that I can recover the files from the old drive; chances are I lost anything that was not backed up which means most of my current work, so either my schedule got fucked, or it got TURBO fucked with a ten inch spikey dildo.
On the bright side... Oh fuck there is no bright side SHIT...
Oh and I have no fucking as to how to publish Journals on the Mobile version of DA... So post it is. Fucking magical.

I'm in a constant state of forgetting there is a remake of Tokyo Mew Mew; I was never the biggest fan of the old one but it had a few pretty good ideas.
