Kim Chiu Reveals Xian Lim Courted Her For Over A Year
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim just revealed more details about their relationship.
Previously, the celeb couple answered netizens' Qs in one of Kim's vlogs, like why they don't say "I love you" a lot . Recently, they did part two of their Q&A on Xian's YouTube channel.
While Kim and Xian answered Qs on how they prefer to keep in touch and how long was their longest tampuhan , what really made us kilig was when they shared how they actually became a couple. This is super important since they've been pretty much low-key so far throughout their nine-year strong relationship.
Xian reveals they first felt a "spark" while filming My Binondo Girl . Xian was one of Kim's leading men in the 2011 teleserye .
Xian: "I guess may nakita silang spark. Yes… Hindi nila alam , totoong spark na . Spark na sa totoong buhay. Ikaw talaga. Mga tingin-tingin mo kasi sa 'kin ."
Kim: " Doon na nag -start and 'yon , the rest is history."
Kim: "One and a half. Basta nag -one year din kaming ano... Kasi siyempre , para sure. Ayoko namang makipaglaro sa feelings ko , 'di ba ?"
Xian: "Tip lang , guys. Yes, tips. Ang relationship is like building a house. Dapat strong yung foundation. Kung ' di strong ang foundation ninyo , laro-laro lang naman ' yan sa umpisa , mabilis din 'yang mabubuwag . To make sure the foundation is great before you jump into anything."
Xian: "The foundation should be strong. Kung biglaan niyo lang sinagot yung tao , kaunting yanig lang , wala na ."
Since it's been close to a decade already, Kim and Xian struggled to remember where exactly they were when she agreed to become his girlfriend.
Xian: "In the car? Noong nag -long drive tayo ? It's either in the car or in your house."
Kim: " Oo nga 'no , nakalimutan na natin ."
Xian: "I remember I… Kasi 'di ba tinanong talaga kita . Very traditional tayo. Tinanong talaga kita, 'Kim, will you be my girlfriend?' Either sa car or doon sa may pool area.
Kim: " Hindi , hindi sa may pool. Sa kotse . Is it?"
Xian: "Of course. Super. Super important. Why wouldn't you say 'Good morning' and 'Good night?'"
Kim: "Yeah. Siya yung lagi kong tine -text first thing in the morning and bago ako matulog , siya din. Tawag , actually. Ay , ' pag morning, text muna kasi baka tulog pa siya. Pero ' pag gabi , video call talaga ."
Xian: "Yeah. And five kisses. Why? Why five kisses?"
Xian: " 'Yun yong ano namin . Five kisses because 'I love you very much.'"

Kim Chiu had a special guest for her latest vlog as her boyfriend Xian Lim joined her in doing the "Sino Ang Mas?" challenge.
The game was just simple: Kim and Xian would just have to pick who is which between them and explain the reason why. The two did the game while stuck in traffic to kill time, and Kim already prepared the questions beforehand.
The actress then started out with a pretty safe question — "Sino ang mas mahiyain?"
Both of them agreed that it's Xian, being the introvert that he is. He then explained why he's one saying, "Kailangan kong kilala muna 'yung mga tao sa paligid ko before I can go all out."
When it comes to being "mas pikon," "mas impatient," and "mas mareklamo," the two also agreed that it's definitely Xian. He even ranted about how impatient and mareklamo he is while they were stuck in traffic. LOL!
In terms of being the sweeter one in their relationship, the vote still goes to Xian. But when it comes to being the more malambing and mabait one, Xian said that it is certainly Kim.
"Mas mabait si Kim kasi kaya niyang itago yung kabaitan niya, eh. Alam mo 'yung kailangan mong magpakabait? Ako kasi, lagi kong pinapakita kung ano ako, eh. I'm a transparent person. Kasi 'pag galing kang ibang bansa, you tend to be more straightforward with how you feel or kung ano man yung kailangan mong sabihin, sasabihin mo," he said.
And for another no-brainer question which is "Sino ang mas makulit?", Xian quickly answered, "Ikaw, sobra." To which Kim replied, "Kailangan na lang niyang mag-live with it because...?"
"Because mahal kita," Xian answered. Aww, our KimXi hearts! ❤

Xian and Kim’s last movie together was the 2015 romance-comedy 'All You Need Is Pag-Ibig'

MANILA, Philippines – Fans of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, also known as KimXi, are in for a treat as the real-life couple is set to reunite on a film together after seven years.
“I missed sharing the big screen with you, [Kim Chiu],” Xian said in an Instagram post on Monday, June 20, alongside photos of them in an embrace. The actress also shared the post in her Instagram story with the caption, “It’s been a while! Thank you [Viva Films.]”
Viva Artists Agency also shared the photos on their account with the hashtag KimXi. Additional details about the project, such as its name, director, plot, cast members, and target release date, have yet to be announced.
Xian and Kim’s last movie together was the 2015 romance-comedy film All You Need Is Pag-Ibig, but the two have worked together in the ABS-CBN series Love Thy Woman, which aired in 2020.
The upcoming movie also serves as the first project for the tandem since Xian moved to GMA in August 2021. Kim remains under the ABS-CBN network.
Kim and Xian were first paired in the 2011 series My Binondo Girl and confirmed their relationship in 2018. The two also starred in movies Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo and Bride for Rent. – Rappler.com
