XenithOS 2.5 — Mondrian Performance Patch

XenithOS 2.5 — Mondrian Performance Patch

LF5

XenithOS 2.5 is an update focused on performance, UI responsiveness, and overall system stability. All optimizations are implemented at the native level (System / Kernel / HAL) and do not rely on background services, scripts, or third-party solutions.

Touch & Input

Touch sampling rate is hard-locked in the Goodix driver

Dynamic downscaling to 240 Hz has been eliminated

After enabling 500 Hz via Game Turbo, the system can no longer reduce the sampling rate

Result:

stable high polling rate, predictable input response, and no fluctuating input latency

Network

Kernel network stack has been reworked

TCP Cubic is forced

FQ (Fair Queueing) queue scheduler is enabled

Result:

reduced bufferbloat, stable ping, and improved hit registration in online games

I/O and App Launch

iorapd prefetching service has been optimized

iorapd moved to the top-app group

Data preloading is handled by the Prime CPU core

Result:

faster cold app launches and no stutters during asset loading

UI & Scrolling

Excessive friction coefficients have been removed

Artificial swipe velocity limits have been lifted

Scrolling inertia has been optimized

Result:

linear and smooth scrolling without the “sticky” feeling, especially noticeable in third-party apps

Camera

Camera HAL configuration for the SM8475 platform has been fixed

Frequency boosting during camera launch now works correctly

Power HAL properly raises CPU and GPU frequencies

Result:

no lag on camera launch and a smooth viewfinder from the first frame

Global 120 Hz Optimization (Global Boost)

Manufacturer system limitations (application whitelists) have been removed

CPU scheduler calibrated for proper 120 Hz operation

System input response speed has been improved

Result:

stable 120 Hz in all applications (Telegram, Chrome, YouTube, VK, games);

micro-stutters and initial scroll latency eliminated;

improved gesture and notification shade responsiveness;

optimization operates within stock frequencies and thermal protection limits.

System

Fixed NFC icon not appearing in the status bar

Added support for colored system icons

MIShare application added

Some preinstalled Google apps have been removed
