The Tea Economic Development Corporation has put it all between the covers of a book, Tea, South Dakota Community Profile Information Guide, designed to bring current residents up to date with all that's new, plus introduce visitors and newcomers to this vibrant community.
Guides are free and available at Tea City Hall located at 600 E. 1st St. or at businesses throughout Tea.

The Tea Community Hall is located at 200 W. Maple Street and is available to rent by Tea Community Members only. This means if you live orwork in Tea or have a student in the Tea School district you are eligible to rent.This building is also known as the old St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

A Community Garden has been created at Tea Trinity Lutheran Church for public use.
The Tea Food Pantry is a combined effort between the local churches. It is located within Trinity Lutheran Church at 335 W. 1st St.
During the winter months, all sizes of gently used winter jackets, hats and gloves can be donated.

The Meals on Wheels program consists of a hot meal, delivered to your door between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To be eligible to receive meals, recipients must be 60 or older and home-bound, meaning they spend most of their time at home or are unable to prepare healthy, consistent meals in their homes for medical or social reasons. Meals on Wheels is a donation-based program; the minimum suggested donation is $4.25 (as of September 1, 2021) per meal. If you or someone you know would like to receive meals through the Meals on Wheels program, please call 605-333-3305 for more information.
If you are under 60 and interested in receiving Meals on Wheels, please call Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) at 605-367-5444, ask for an intake specialist and check if you are eligible for the Meals on Wheels program.

The warning sirens will be tested on the first Friday of the month from April through October at 10 am.
This is a regular maintenance testing to ensure all sirens are working properly.
