A Manenberg man will appear in Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Friday after he was busted for raping his hondjie and taking a video of it while allegedly high on drugs.
The video was sent to the Cape of Good Hope SPCA, and it immediately got police involved. The 23-year-old man from Renoster Road was soon arrested.
According to a resident, who asked not to be named, the ou is seen “making love” to a male puppy on the recording he had made himself.
“He has a moerse tottie . In the video you can see how he makes love with the doggie.
“The video is almost like he is taking a selfie of his sick fetish. At the end of the video you can see how he quickly jumps up and puts his pants on,” the resident explains.
SPCA chief inspector Jaco Pieterse says the video was sent to senior inspectors who immediately started tracing the suspect.
“The SPCA immediately investigated the incident and within mere hours was able to trace the man to his home address in Manenberg, where an arrest was made.
“Thanks to the full support of the Manenberg SAPS and the City of Cape Town’s law enforcement and Metro police, the perpetrator of this heinous crime was arrested just hours after we received this sickening footage.”
Pieterse says the suspect tjanked when cops pounced on him and confiscated his dog.
“He was crying like a baby yesterday when he was being arrested. Not such a big man after all,” he adds.
“The man was taken into police custody and the SPCA has laid criminal charges against him for bestiality.
“We also removed the victim, a small-breed, young dog from the property.
“In addition to evidence of having suffered horrendous sexual abuse, the puppy was also confined to a small wooden box and forced to live in otherwise deplorable conditions,” adds Pieterse.
He says the dog underwent a full assessment at the SPCA and will remain in safekeeping.
Manenberg station commander Sanele Zama confirms: “The 23-year-old suspect is in custody and will be appearing in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court.
“This is a shocking case and when questioned, he told officers that he was high on heroin at the time of making the video.”
Vanessa Adriaanse of the Community Police Forum says that the community is disgusted.
“So it is not enough that women are getting abused, now they abuse our animals.
“It is disgusting and we condemn such behaviour.
“Such people should not go unpunished as this is an inhumane act. It is sick and disgusting,” she explains.

The Sex Lives of College Girls is officially back for its highly anticipated second season and we already can't get enough. We're reunited with our favorite suitemates, Bela, Whitney, Kimberly, and Leighton, as they take on their next semester at Essex College, a prestigious school in Vermont. While Kimberly lost her scholarship after cheating on her economics exam in the season one finale, Bela is starting a new all-female comedy magazine, Leighton is exploring her sexuality, and Whitney is figuring out who she is outside of soccer season.
Essex College is known for its killer themed parties and top-notch extracurriculars, but it doesn't even exist IRL (bummer, we know). Ahead, find everything we know about The Sex Lives of College Girls' filming locations and what college campuses we actually see on the show.
The prestigious college we see in The Sex Lives of College Girls isn't a real school, so if you were hoping to file an application, we send our sincerest apologies. On the show, Essex College is a prestigious school in Vermont but in real life, it's actually filmed in several universities across the U.S.
Per IMDb , The Sex Lives of College Girls ' first season was filmed at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, California, in June 2021. The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that the show featured "exterior shots on and around campus extensively through its first season."
Showrunner Mindy Kaling even gave the publication a shoutout on Twitter , writing "We loved shooting in beautiful ⁦Poughkeepsie! The town and people in it are the best. Our cast and crew loved every minute of our stay there."
For season two, however, the show was filmed across the University of California in Los Angeles and the University of Washington from June to August 2022. According to a report by the University of Washington , filming took place on their Seattle campus, "primarily in the Quad." The university also revealed that around 100 students were hired as extras and that the crew was made up of local artists, vendors, and freelancers.

In episode 1 of The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2, Leighton, Whitney, Bela, and Kimberly return to Essex. Leighton reveals that Nico got expelled along with a lot of other senior Thetas who were responsible for the cheating scandal.
At lunch, Theta members throw a milk carton at their table for whistleblowing. They then inform them that none of them can ever set foot in Theta again.
But Kimberly has bigger problems. She never told her parents about losing her scholarship. Now she needs to come up with her own way of paying for school. Leighton helps her with applying for a loan. She gets a loan approved, but she can’t accept it, as she needs her parents to cosign.
The only solution Kimberly can come up with for her financial problems is to get a second job transcribing an Australian reality TV show.
Meanwhile, Whitney worries she hasn’t packed her schedule enough when she hears about what all the other soccer players are doing in their off-season. She decides to try out for water polo, but doesn’t make the team. She confesses to Canaan she feels like she doesn’t have anything other than soccer, and he does his best to encourage her.
Bela puts her whole heart into starting an all-female comedy magazine. But her hopes are deflated when none of the applicants are funny. She goes to Eric for help, and he encourages her not to sit back and wait, but to go and find writers herself.
Bela, Leighton, and Whitney get ready for the Annual Snow Run. It’s an Essex tradition where everyone wears only their undergarments to race in the snow. Kimberly initially decides to stay home, but hard-to-transcribe Australian accents combined with the loud sex their new neighbor Jackson is having convince her to leave.
The girls do the snow run, then go to Omega Pi’s Winter Party to try and integrate themselves into a new frat. There, Bela realizes Lili is hilarious and asks her to write a listicle for the comedy magazine.
Another girl flirts with Leighton at the party, and Kimberly encourages her to dance with her, but Leighton freaks out.
Kimberly then confronts Jackson at the party for all the noise he makes. He gives her his number and tells her she can text him anytime he’s being too loud. Meanwhile, Whitney overhears Canaan talking about how she really does only have soccer going for her.
At the end of the party, Omega Pi and Theta members inform the suite mates that this will be their last party. Word of their whistleblowing has spread. Essentially, they’ve been banned from frats.
When they get back from the party, Leighton works up the courage to tell Whitney and Bela she’s gay. They convince her to DM the girl from the party, and Leighton agrees.
The episode ends with Bela going to Eric’s apartment to thank him for his advice. She then kisses him. He pulls her into his apartment, shutting the door behind them.
The Sex Lives of College Girls is back with a second season, and so is a lot of the drama from season 1.
For the most part, the comedy drama is taking its protagonists in a fresh direction. I’m particularly excited for Bela’s storyline, which should build on two things from season 1: themes of discrimination against women and Bela’s intense chemistry with Eric.
If there’s one storyline I’m worried about it’s Leighton’s. For a character who is so adamant about not making her sexuality her entire identity, I hope she isn’t trapped by writers who make her arcs about nothing else. But I’m excited too. Her coming out has been built up to all last season. I’m hopeful, then, for a new season where she can explore who she is–both in and apart from her sexuality.
