This course explores the purpose of social studies in early childhood classroom, with emphasis on grades preK–2. This course provides an overview of the new C3 Framework for Social Studies State Standards along with recommended best practices and classroom activities covering a wide range. Important connections are drawn between social studies curriculum goals and the development of social-emotional skills.
This course presents practical methods for integrating movement, active involvement, and group games across all curriculum areas, including art, language arts, mathematics, music, science, and social studies. Students will have the chance to discover best practices and effective strategies for engaging in active learning and game play with children of various ages.
This course provides participants with an understanding of their role in supporting children and families who experience homelessness. The course explores the prevalence of homelessness as well as its causes and impacts on the developing child. Participants will discover ways they can promote positive outcomes for those who are affected by homelessness through a variety of policies and classroom practices.
With child care teacher shortages and high turnover within the field, many administrators find themselves spending large quantities of their time hiring and training teachers only to hire and train again and again. CCEI offers professionals 150+ online child care training courses in English and Spanish to meet licensing, recognition program, and Head Start requirements . The coursework offered by CCEI is used to meet the educational needs of practitioners in a range of settings, including family child care , preschool, prekindergarten, childcare centers, and more. Programs are designed around the diverse needs of students. Certificate programs of study are self-paced, and CCEI provides access to an Education Coach and customer support services to deliver assistance, encouragement, and feedback throughout the duration of programs.
Some of the child care staff training material presented in these child care staff certification courses may differ from the specific child care center requirements of state or local regulatory agencies and other compliance organizations. Some jurisdictions also limit the number of courses per day or course hours that will be recognized for licensing or other child care requirements. Please check with your child care center director or regulatory office(s) to ensure the courses you plan to take will satisfy the requirement(s) for which you are taking them.

does anyone know what happened with eccie i thought they were coming back online but it now says the site is closed
Guess they could not pull it off!!!!
that sucks i was looking foward to them maybe it is just a hicup
I may freak out if I see this msg for another 7 days.
me also does anyone have a eccie mod email to find out if this is true
