No parent is perfect, but these celebrity moms and dads have had some epic parenting fails. You don't need to be an expert to know there are some things you just don't do if you have kids. Say, for example, taking drugs when your children are around or bringing your wee ones to the club for the night. Just sayin'. 
The following celebrity moms and dads have caught plenty of heat for their questionable parenting skills. Take a look at 15 of the worst celebrity parents.

Allegedly Courtney Love admitted to using heroin while preganant with her daughter, Francis. In 2011, Love lost custody of her then 11-year-old when she overdosed on Oxycontin. The two reuinted early in 2015, when they attended the Sundace film premiere of Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.
The actor has four children with three different women, and it seems he hasn't made the best of choices for any of them. While celebrating his girlfriend, the late Farrah Fawcett's 60th birthday, O'Neal shot at one of his sons. Then there's O'Neals lifelong struggle with addiction. Sadly, he even exposed his kids to the same harrowing lifestyle, reportedly introducing his eldest son, Griffin, to cocaine at the young age of 11. All three of his kids have had problems with drug addiction and served several stints in jail.
Actor Lorenzo Lamas claims that his Playboy model ex, Shauna Sands,  had sex on the beach in front of photographers and was caught on tape asking their 9-year-old if she wants to pose for Playboy. The couple was caught in a bitter custody battle over their three kids for years.
The star of Teen Moms has her very own sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom and has opted for multiple rounds of plastic surgery, each time looking less and less like her original, beautiful self. Then there's that infamous DUI arrest, and the time she decided to wax and pluck her 3-year-old daughter's unibrow. 
After 21 stints in rehab (not a typo), we could only hope Brooke Mueller has changed her ways. Having been declared an "unfit mother," by a judge a few years back, neither Mueller nor her twins' daddy, Charlie Sheen, could adequately care for their children, so guardianship was appointed to Sheen's ex, Denise Richards. In addition, Mueller was placed in an involuntary psychiatric hold at UCLA Medical Center.
Charlie Sheen may have tiger blood running through his veins, but he clearly lacks parenting blood. When you lose custody of your two kiddos, which Sheen did in 2011, chances are it's time to reevaulate your ways. He's threatened his ex, Denise Richards, who was given custody of his kids with Brooke Mueller, a longtime drug addict, he's often surrounded by prostitutes and known for going on benders. In fact his mad behavior alledgedly got him fired from Three and a Half Men.
The TV and film actor's most epic parenting fail came when he and his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, were going through a wicked custody battle and Baldwin famously called his daughter a "rude thoughtless pig." The Cat in The Hat star did issue an apology for his harsh words, thankfully.
It's a wonder everyone's darling, Drew Barrymore, turned her life around to become such a successful mom, producer and entrepreneur. Emancipated at 15, Drew's mother, Jaid, allegedly took her daughter to the famous nightclub Studio 54 before she was even a teen. Add that to her unsupervised childhood, which lead Drew to have her first drink at 9 years old, and we can see why Drew has said that she's determined to be a very different parent than her own.
There are plenty of fish in the sea. So can we just take having any sort of relationship with the child you helped raise off the table? Woody Allen began dating Soon Yi-Previn, the adopted daughter of his ex, Mia Farrow, after he and Farrow split. She later found nude pics of her daughter among Allen's belongings. But even amid the dysfunction, Allen and Previn, who is 35 years his junior, got married and have stayed together for over 20 years.
The famous wrestler reportedly hooked up with his daughter's best friend. That can't end well. Hulk Hogan's marriage to his ex-wife, Linda, indeed ended due to his affair with Christiane Plante, who was daughter Brooke's BFF at the time. Needless to say, Brooke was left to find a new BFF (and father figure).
Despite Linday's public struggles with addiction, her mom, Dina Lohan, has been spotted clubbing with her, and this was after getting a DWI and claiming it was because she was shielding her kid from the paparazzi. But we can't place all the Lohan blame on mama Dina. LiLo's father, Michael, has had plenty of run-ins with the law. The couple will be cashing in on their dysfunction by starring in VH1's upcoming season of Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn.
The former Baptist minister turned stage dad was not shy about discussing his daughters, um, assets. As he famously said,  "Jessica never tries to be sexy. She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up!" OK, then.
Momager Kris Jenner has been rumored to stop at nothing to skyrocket the Kardashian name. Granted, it's all speculation, but some alleged that Jenner was behind daughter Kim's sex tape. Others think she sexualized younger daughters Kylie and Kendall by letting them take part in hyper-sexy modeling campaigns that made them look far older than their age. The momager owns up to the fact that she takes 10% of her kiddos' earnings, but she certainly doesn't think she exploits them.
Dubbed by the press, "Cocaine Kate," supermodel Kate Moss has quite the affinity for drugs, which at one point led to an arrest for cocaine possession. But even worse are the times Moss let her daughter hang with an even bigger drug addict, her then-boyfriend Pete Doherty. Moss even was rumored to forget her daughter's third birthday.
It seems that Kate Gosselin will stop at nothing to get another stint on reality TV, and if her kids stand in the way, the mama of eight is not having it. She's appeared on talk shows openly aggravated with her twins Cara and Mady, and in early 2015 child protective services was called over her alleged abusive treatment of one of her sextuplets, Collin. The custody battle between Kate and her ex, Jon Gosselin, is still pretty heated.
