WCS USA Preliminaries are regional events around the United States hosted at partner conventions with prize packages including airfare, hotel stay, badges and a guaranteed slot in the WCS USA Finals at Anime Expo. These events are not pre-qualifiers – they are an opportunity for teams around the country to win their way to the Finals!
Anime Expo is an annual event bringing fans and industry together for a celebration of Japanese pop culture. Anime Expo is also the home of the WCS USA Finals where we select WCS Team USA.
The World Cosplay Summit is an annual event held in Nagoya, Japan since 2003. It is a celebration of cosplay and culture spanning multiple days and climaxing in a grand Championship where one team will be crowned the World Cosplay Summit Champion.

Hey, make sure you set your group admin permissions to "Subject to Vote" or "Are Not Allowed". There has been two notorious group hijackers for over a month now who apply as a co-founders, delete all the artwork in the gallery and favorites, and replace it with gore, scat and porn. Warning, there is a group hijacker who is targeting cosplay groups by applying as a co-founder, deleting all the artwork, and replacing it with gore, scat, porn and racism. Please set your group admin permissions to "Subject to Vote" or "Are Not Allowed and warn other groups to do the same. He already attacked CosplayingForever .

Unless it's a tutorial, finished cosplay photos only! Do Not Submit Stolen Cosplays . If it's not you, you didn't take the photo or you don't have permission to use the image, it's STOLEN. You will be immediately banned . We Are An Open Group / NO EROTIC PHOTOS We are diverse in age here and, not only that, but we are an open group and we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. So, please, keep it PG-13. This includes, but is not limited to, NO Erotic, NO Excessive Gore, Offensive Signs, Strong Language, Racism, Full or Partial Nudity (this includes being in your underwear), Covering Private Parts With Hands/Arms/Legs/etc, Being Only Covered By Water/A Sheet, Groping, Heavy Petting, Sexual Intercourse, Strong Suggested Sexual Themes and Overly Sexual Poses. We take this rule very seriously, so if it is broken you will be immediately put on consideration for ban . SUBMIT TO THE CORRECT FOLDER Self explanatory! No Convention Photos . This means no people in the background of photos unless it's related/necessary to the actual photograph. Especially crowded ones! Do Not remove all of your photos from the group and re-submit them just to get more views. If you have ONE photo that you would like to remove and re-submit because it's been a while, then that's fine. But do not re-add ALL of your photo. Please be respectful. Ttreat others how you would like to be treated. HAVE FUN! I know it seems like a lot of rules, BUT this isn't a competition, we all love our hobby! Enjoy the group!
