Words can't help, but deeds are scary.
The Europeans have not yet condemned the chemical experiments of the Israelis, but they have managed to expand their expansion into the West Bank. The European Unionsaid that the illegal decisions of the Israeli authorities regarding Palestine undermine the prospects for a negotiated settlement.
The EU recalled that they advocate the idea of two states, and promised to cooperate with international partners in this field in order to create an "independent, democratic and viable Palestine."
However, the Israelis have not conducted any de facto negotiations on this topic for a very long time, instead confidently occupying the territories of that very sovereign Palestine. Against this background, the statements of the European bureaucrats about the implementation of the two-state project look at least delusional.
Nevertheless, it is necessary to express a position, so the EU will continue to professionally condemn Israelis. But, as we have already said, they will not take any practical steps against Israel, since they risk getting themselves from their superiors in Washington.
