("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), registered at 160 Robinson Road, #24-09 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914, operates the Word Circle mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account Information: When you sign in via Google authentication, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
Profile Information: Nickname, date of birth, and avatar image that you choose to provide.
User Content: Chat messages (text, images, and voice messages) you send within your circle.
Game Data: Your word puzzle guesses, results, scores, and gameplay statistics.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Log Data: Access times, pages viewed, app crashes, and other system activity.
Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for delivering notifications.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In: Basic profile information as authorized by you during authentication.
Google AdMob: Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data for serving personalized advertisements.
Firebase Services: Analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your information to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the App;
Create and manage your account and circle membership;
Enable game features including daily puzzles, leaderboards, and game history;
Facilitate communication between circle members via in-app chat;
Send push notifications including game reminders, poke alerts, and activity updates;
Display advertisements through Google AdMob;
Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the App;
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats;
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Within Your Circle: Your nickname, avatar, game results, and chat messages are visible to other members of your circle.
Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for backend services, data storage, and authentication. We use Google AdMob for advertising.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. Game history and chat messages are retained for the duration of your circle membership. No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 1 year after account deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
Request deletion of your personal information;
Object to or restrict processing of your personal information;
Data portability.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications for daily game reminders, poke alerts from circle members, leaderboard updates, and chat activity. You can manage notification preferences within the App's settings or through your device settings.

10. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, including advertising identifiers, to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. For more information, see Google's advertising privacy policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
