I bought this book to check out and and see if it would be appropriate for my 15 year old teenager. I wanted to convey that even though I don’t want her to be sexual yet I want her to be comfortable with herself and sexual experiences when she’s ready. This book was great for that! It has small bits of information and reaffirms the healthy part of a female and her sexuality. Now I just got to find the right time to pass it along to her!

Wow!!!! So many things I hadn't explored in thought as well as sexually! I would recommend this book to any women! I enjoyed skipping around and also reading it in order. Either way we'll worth the read!!! Get ready to take an adventure doing some fun things!!!
















This book was not at all what I was expecting this is more so learning about sex the ends and outs of it as if I was a teenager. I did not teach me anything that I didn’t already know.
















Don't let the provocative cover fool you. This is not your average fluff piece full of "Top 5 Positions" lists or a collection of fun anecdotes for "spicing up things in the bedroom" written by a TV/Radio personality or other self proclaimed expert with a basic college degree. Those things can be found in almost any of your average monthly women's magazines. Instead, what you get here is a fully comprehensive and clinical manual covering everything you wish they had taught you in health class, including sections on more taboo subjects (like toys and anal sex) that most books gloss over or avoid delving into in such accurate detail and clarity. With shared focus on both the female and male anatomy and all possible facets, styles, and positions for intercourse, the New Sex Bible for Women is just that... an expertly and intelligently written "bible" that celebrates the many joys of sex and educates both men and women alike. A must read for anyone looking to have a healthy, fulfilling, and exciting sex life.

Amie Harwick was a therapist in Los Angeles, specializing in sexuality and women's issues, who had also been a Playboy centerfold and model. She held a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California Polytechnic University and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Prior to working as a therapist, Ms. Harwick was a Fitness Director for Bally Total Fitness in which she managed and created fitness programs. This book is more of an encyclopedia of what different sex things are. There are tips, but no thorough advice for specific issues. Feels more educational than anything, but it’s also got some outdated and debunked information in it. Studies show that female ejaculation, while completely normal and okay, does indeed include pee in it. This book states it doesn’t. This book also claims there is a G Spot. In 2012, there was an analysis of studies that concluded there is little evidence of a G spot,

In 2012, there was an analysis of studies that concluded there is little evidence of a G spot, and in 2017, Professor Helen O’Connell published evidence that there is no G spot, and sensitive spots inside are likely part of the Clitoris. I am not a scientist, so I’m not wording this best, so definitely do some research, if interested. I highly recommend the G Spot episode of the podcast Science Versus for more information on that specifically.

I would classify this as a "coffee table book", suitable for discussion topics and conversations with loved ones. For those looking for something more in depth, I'd recommend something more content specific.
