Women's Basketball National Treasure Park Ji-soo decided to try abroad

Women's Basketball 'National Treasure' center Cheongju KB Park Ji-soo (26) will leave the domestic stage for Europe.

After picking Park Ji-soo in the rookie draft, KB, which was his team until this 2023-24 season, announced on the 3rd that Park Ji-soo will join Galatasaray in the Turkiye League.

The KB club said, "Before going through the voluntary termination process, Park Ji-soo was asked to sign the contract with Galatasaray first. The team officially announced it after the two sides coordinated detailed conditions and confirmed that they had reached a final agreement."

KB, which lost to Asan Woori Bank in its championship game after winning the regular league title last year, needs Park Ji-soo more than anyone else to avenge it. Although the player chose to take on the challenge when he could be desperate, KB left a message of support instead of regret. KB said, "We support Park's dream and challenge. It will be a new motivating factor for all the players."
