MAHARAJGANG, UP: A shocking brutality was caught on camera where a minor couple was thrashed by goons in the name of moral policing.
The incident happened in Maharajganj district of Yogi Adityanath‘s Uttar Pradesh.
According to the reports, the couple was forced to strip was made to pose in an inappropriate manner for the camera.
The three accused assaulted the girl and the boy with sticks while filming the whole incident before uploading it on the social networking sites.
In the video, the couple can be seen repeatedly kicked and beaten with the sticks. It also shows the goons touching the girl inappropriately.
The footage furthered shows the duo crying in pain and pleading for mercy but the goons thrash them badly. They also tore their clothes and also hit on their sensitive parts.
According to the reports, the woman accused the police of not taking any action any sooner and has registered a FIR only after the intervention of the senior cops.
Police arrested two of the three accused, as per ANI reports.
