Kelly Wolf, 28, was found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court, of two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.
At conviction, the court heard how Wolf, who was 26 at the time of the offences, groomed the 14-year-old victim between September 13 and September 24, 2016.
Officers were alerted to the relationship on September 25, 2016, when they received a call saying that the victim had gone missing.
The victim’s parents informed officers that they believed their son was having a sexual relationship with Wolf.
This was later confirmed by a friend of their son, who approached the parents when he found out he was missing.
The friend told officers he saw the two having sex in a park.
When the victim returned home he was questioned by officers about the nature of his relationship with Wolf, but refused to comment.
Officers left the victim’s house and arranged to speak to him in a few days but he and his mother attended Edmonton police station the next day where he admitted he had been having a sexual relationship with Wolf after she had started grooming him via text messages.
Officers arrested Wolf on September 26, 2016, and later released her on bail. On July 14, 2017, she was charged with the child sexual offences and bailed to appear at Wood Green Crown Court.
Detective Constable Rob Bushell, from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command, said: ‘These sorts of crimes are rarely reported to the police, as male victims often feel scared to speak to us about being victims of grooming.
‘I hope that today’s sentencing will urge other boys to come forward if they have been a victim of this type of crime.’

An NSPCC spokesperson said: ‘This case highlights how sexual predators like Wolf use the internet to prey on vulnerable young victims for their own sexual gratification.
‘To help keep children safe online, we are calling for social media companies to use existing technology to flag suspected groomers to moderators and send an automatic alert to children as part of the government’s internet safety strategy.
‘We also want to see an independent regulator with fining powers, accompanied by a mandatory code of practice that introduces safe accounts for children, and the fast tracking of child safety reports to moderators.’
Wolf, of Raynton Road, Enfield, was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court today to two years and nine months in prison.
She has been placed under a sexual harm prevention order for a minimum of 10 years.
