WHITESBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Letcher County woman was arrested Friday following her indictment on sexual abuse charges after an investigation into a video that showed her having sex with a boy, according to Kentucky State Police.
Investigators say 41-year old Carrie Hall, of Whitesburg, was indicted for the Use of a minor (u/18) in a sexual performance, Tampering with a witness, Possess/view matter to portray sexual performance, Use of a minor (u/16) in a sex performance, Sex abuse 1st degree, Rape 3rd degree, and Prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure minor.
State Police say Hall is a former nurse practitioner, but that the charges are not connected to her work.
Following her arrest, Hall was taken to the Letcher County Jail, according to KSP.

He was also recognized for giving back to the community as a mentor, educator and volunteer. Tom also has network broadcast experience in radio and television having worked as a sports reporter for ESPN, Sportschannel, NBC Sports and the Breeders’ Cup. He was also the studio host and halftime producer for CBS Radio Sports’ College Football Game of the Week and covered the NFL for One-On-One Radio Sports. Prior to joining WTVQ-TV, Tom was Vice-President of the Houston Astros Minor League baseball team in Lexington. He was part of the original management team that brought professional baseball back to the Bluegrass after a nearly 50-year absence. Tom has lived in Lexington since 1984. A 59-year-old woman has gone on trial accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy while on holiday with his family.
The alleged victim’s gran told a court yesterday she saw the pair having sex on the balcony of a flat in Ibiza in the middle of the night but was too shocked to intervene.
In his evidence, the teenager said Gail Dickinson told him: “Your mum thinks you’re a boy but I know you’re a man.”
Dickinson, of Glenrothes, denies that she engaged in sexual activity with the boy by kissing him on the lips, touching him on the body, performing oral sex on him and engaging in sexual intercourse on June 13 last year.
Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard she was a friend of his family and had gone to Ibiza with the teen, his mum, gran and brother.
They all shared a holiday flat in San Antonio.
The schoolboy’s gran told the trial she heard Dickinson saying to him: “You’ve got a lovely package there.”

She said: “I thought she was talking about his private parts and that it was very, very inappropriate.”
She added she had initially split up Dickinson and the boy when she found them in the living room and her grandson was partially naked and “clearly aroused”.
She told him to go to bed but later heard whispering from the balcony. When she looked through a gap in the curtains, she saw the pair engaged in sexual intercourse.
The gran told the court she then saw Dickinson perform oral sex on the boy, adding:“I could tell from his face he was enjoying it.” She said Dickinson was “making demands” and the boy was following “like a robot”.
The witness added: “It was a horrible situation. I couldn’t believe it.”
She said she did not intervene because other family members were sleeping and “I didn’t want a rumpus to start”.
The gran said she later confronted Dickinson, who initially told her she must have been dreaming but then said: “I’m terrible, you must hate me.”
The witness told her daughter the next day and Dickinson was told to leave the flat.

Police were contacted when the family returned home to Fife.
Earlier, the boy told the court via a video link that he had been out for some drinks with his mum and Dickinson.
He claimed that although his mum bought him two bottles of beer she was unaware that Dickinson was giving him more alcohol when she was away from the table.
The boy admitted he was “pretty drunk” when they returned to the flat.
He said: “Gail was coming on to me… She was touching my shoulders and legs.”
The boy said he went to bed when his gran told him to but later went back to Dickinson. He said she took his hand and led him out on to the balcony, where they had sex.
Asked how he had felt following the alleged sexual encounter, he said: “I was stunned it happened. When I woke up in the morning I felt pretty rubbish. I regretted it.
“It wouldn’t have happened if I was sober.”
