Not a fan of the Spiderman, but this was pretty cool.
My Father is a huge fan of comic books, his favorite being the 'Play Boy' comic books that he for some reasons hides under his mattress so for our Dirty Film Friday this seemed like the ideal choice. The film begins with some great action music composed by Gareth Gates, although I think that the CD skips in the film as he often repeats himself in short bursts (Unprofessional to leave tape skipping music in a film in my opinion). Anyways, it's the dark onset where we're introduced to Wolverine one of the members of the 'Sex-Men'. He meets a nice looking young woman named Rogue, who seems to be quite upset about something (I think it must be that time of the month hehe) while this started out to be something quite exciting he obviously didn't think too much about the er... fist limitations, a delightful romance scene quickly turned into something that should've been in Jaws, because I'm a hemophobe I just started violently puking everywhere much to the amusement of my Father turning our living room into something similar to the set of 2 girls 1 cup. Spiderman later comes into the fray and shoots his creamy wrist load into Wolverines mouth, I found this to be quite unpleasant as it reminded me of when this guy I met on Holiday did something similar to me because I didn't have enough money to pay for the plane ticket home. I've got to say that the music puts a huge dampener on what's going on, as I said the stuttering tracks and random stops made it very hard to get immersed, but the acting wasn't that bad. Allie Haze who plays Rogue was very convincing and had extremely good acting skills, the only thing that I would say against her is that she her vaginal area had a similar appearance to my old pet hamster which unfortunately passed away last year, this caused me quite a large amount of distress and tears flooded back. (R.I.P. Little Perry the Hamster) The excitement and drama that occurred towards the end of the film when it was discovered that Lady Deathstrike (played by Maya Hills) was quite intense, I was eating Marmite and sweet corn sandwiches at the time and unfortunately Spiderman unleashed excrement on Lady Deathstrikes chest which put me off what I was eating as they looked very similar in appearance. All in all? Okay acting, although some of the actors weren't so great and weren't very convincing. The music score wasn't bad, but next time please make sure that the tape doesn't jam... The storyline was quite easy to follow although the sudden change from a charming romance film to a gore horror film was EXTREMELY unsettling although the ending was quite sad, I highly recommend watching this film with a box of Kleenex by hand! My Rating - 5/10 - The mood changed too drastically, it never really seemed to stick to script. My Fathers Rating - 5/10 It was a good film, but I much prefer the adventures of Play Boy.

Wolverine XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (2013)

Wolverine XXX has finally been released by Vivid. Based on the insanely popular Marvel Comics character, Wolverine XXX has been one of the most anticipated porn parodies of 2013. True to form, director/producer Axel Braun has taken most of his inspiration directly from the comic books, as opposed to the mainstream Hollywood X-Men and Wolverine movies. As a result, this Wolverine is much more true to the one all of us comic book geeks grew up reading about.
In an interview given to XBIZ , Axel Braun talked about why he was so excited to make a Wolverine porn parody, saying…
Wolvie has always been one of my favorite superheroes, and I wanted to do him justice. Even though Hugh Jackman did a terrific job making the character his own, there were several things that always bothered me, one being his height – Wolverine is supposed to be much shorter – and the other one the fact that in six movies he still hasn’t worn the iconic yellow/blue costume…so I decided to fix all that.
Playing role of Logan/Wolverine is adult industry veteran Tommy Gunn. Additionally, Wolverine XXX features another popular Marvel Comics character, with Derrick Pierce as Deadpool. The rest of the cast of characters includes Sabretooth (Evan Stone), Lady Deathstrike (Maya Hills), Jean Grey (Andy San Dimas), Rogue (Allie Haze), Professor Xavier (Mike Moz), Spider-Man (Xander Corvus), and Nick Fury (Lexington Steele).
Speaking about the cast in the same XBIZ interview mentioned above, Braun had this to say…
This is a career-defining role for Tommy Gunn. He put a lot of focus and energy into it and he is absolutely superb as Wolverine. Aiden Ashley commands the screen in every scene as Domino, and the banter between Derrick Pierce as Deadpool and Xander Corvus as Spider-Man is all kinds of awesome. There’s a lot of story, a lot of fun, a lot of really cool costumes and plenty of sex…so hopefully adult movie fans will love it as much as I do.
Wolverine XXX was released on Vivid.com on August 27th for members of the site, with the DVD becoming available on September 10th.
The first trailer for Wolverine XXX has been released, giving us our first look at the much anticipated porn parody from director Axel Braun. The SFW video doesn’t contain any hardcore sex stuff, but it does have a whole lot of other stuff that comic book fans should be happy to see. At just two minutes in length, the Wolverine XXX trailer shows us a movie that is already more true to the comic books than anything that Hugh Jackman and Fox Studios have turned out.
As you can see from the video above, Axel Braun has put together a pretty great Wolverine movie…that also just happens to be a porn parody. While he could have taken the simpler (and cheaper) route of following the path taken by Hollywood, and simply given Logan a leather jacket, Braun instead went to the comic books for inspiration. 
As a result, we get Logan wearing his classic blue and yellow costume, the inclusion of Domino, the mention of Omega Red, and a Deadpool that actually looks like Deadpool. Hell, Axel Braun even took the time to recreate the classic Weapon X scene. Y’know…all of the stuff Fox should have done with Wolverine: Origins but didn’t.
And while the comic geek in me is absolutely excited about all the care and attention that obviously went into making Wolverine XXX, the porn fan in me is equally excited about the casting of this movie. Tommy Gunn seems a great fit for the role of Logan/Wolverine and I’m really looking forward to seeing him go up against Evan Stone, who plays the role of Sabretooth. 
In addition to those heavyweights, we also get to see Aiden Ashley as Domino, Andy San Dimas as Jean Grey, and Allie Haze as Rogue. Also starring in the film is Xander Corvus as Spider-Man, Derrick Pierce as Deadpool, Asa Akira as Mariko, and Maya Hills as Lady Deathstrike. For those keeping track, that is an incredibly talented cast and great selection of characters.
Wolverine XXX also sets the stage for Axel Braun and Vivid Entertainment to grow its X-Men porn franchise and will probably serve as a lead-in to the upcoming XXX-Men parody. Braun has already built out an impressive Avengers franchise, having produced and directed such films as The Avengers XXX , Spider-Man XXX , Iron Man XXX , and She-Hulk XXX . 
Additionally, Braun and Vivid have also tackled the DC Universe, releasing such films as Batman XXX , The Dark Knight XXX , Superman XXX and the upcoming Man of Steel XXX and Wonder Woman XXX . As a result of all of this, Vivid now has a comic book inspired movie universe that rivals that of any mainstream Hollywood studio.
