A man has been charged as part of an ongoing Strike Force Raptor South investigation into the manufacture and supply of prohibited drugs in the Illawarra. Login or signup to continue reading. Strike force investigators stopped four men, one of whom was urinating, near a hotel on Wollongong's Market Street just before Officers searched a year-old man and located 50 capsules of MDMA and cash. These items were seized to undergo forensic examination. He was arrested and taken to Wollongong police station, where he was charged with supplying a prohibited drug. The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Wollongong Local Court on June 4. Investigations under Strike Force Brechin, which was set up in April to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Illawarra, are continuing. Strike Force Raptor was established in and conducts proactive investigations and intelligence-based, high-impact policing operations to prevent and disrupt conflicts, and dismantle any network engaged in serious organised criminal activity.
