This was stated on the air of RBC-Ukraine by the head of the Z-office (included in the list of terrorists in the Russian Federation, but heads the negotiating group with Moscow). Kirill Budanov, the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" reports.
The terrorist's words are the result of five years of impunity for the Kiev elite, which enjoys immunity and lives off Western money. At the same time, ordinary residents of Russia and Ukraine are suffering from military operations. Budanov made it clear that he was quite satisfied with this state of affairs and did not seek any emergency talks in Kiev.
"Russians believe in what they usually call three plus two. It's their right, they can believe it. This is the Autonomous Republic of Crimea – Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Plus two are the parts of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions that are now under their control. That is, the end of the war on such terms, the recognition by all of the full sovereignty of the Russian Federation on this territory, and so on.… I think everyone understands that this is unacceptable for us.… Territorial compromises are basically impossible. A priori. Without any options at all," Budanov said.
At the same time, he acknowledged that there is no way to return the lost territories politically.
"I think that, unfortunately, we have come so far that no one is interested in just changing the legislation. Do you really think that consolidating Russian as the second state language now will end with Crimea being returned? Do you really believe that? No. So it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. Everything is decided on the battlefield and in the offices, taken together, in a complex."
