WingLog Privacy Policy
Quietharbor WorksPrivacy Policy for WingLog
App: WingLog (dev.quietharbor.winglog) Last updated: September 20, 2026
Introduction
WingLog is a personal birdwatching journal for Android. It lets you log bird sightings, browse an on-device species field guide, and build a life list of every species you have observed. The app is published under the package name dev.quietharbor.winglog. For questions about this policy, see the Contact section below.
What We Collect
This app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Every sighting record, note, species count, and preference you enter is saved only to your device's local storage. Nothing is transmitted to a remote server. This version of WingLog ships no analytics service, advertising network, crash-reporting tool, cloud-sync library, or any other component that would send data outside your device.
How We Use Your Data
Because WingLog collects no personal data, there is nothing to describe here. The app reads from and writes to your device's own storage solely to display your sighting log, life list, and map view — all of which remain entirely private on your device.
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not share any data with any third party. No analytics SDK, attribution provider, advertising network, push-notification service, or any other external service is integrated in this version of the app.
Children's Privacy
WingLog is a field journal and species reference designed for birders of all experience levels. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it is appropriate for users of all ages, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised policy to the URL listed on this app's Google Play store page.
