WinEdt has support for automated compilations like TeXify and PDFTeXify . However, if you want to change any of the default engines, you have to go through WinEdt's configuration interfaces. This package adds a few items to the TeX menu, giving the user the chance to run an automated compilation by simply typing a shortcut or pressing a toolbar button.
Open the macro file Install.edt in WinEdt, and execute it by choosing Macros | Execute Current Macro .
Open the macro file Uninstall.edt in WinEdt (also available in %b\Uninstall\LaTeXify folder), and then execute it by choosing Macros | Execute Current Macro .
You can launch your automated compilation from the TeX menu or the toolbar or typing one of the following shortcuts:
For WinEdt 8.0, 8.1:  LaTeXify_8.zip
For WinEdt 10.0, 10.1:  LaTeXify_10.zip
For WinEdt 10.2, 10.3:  LaTeXify_102.zip

WinEdt provides a few predefined templates for New LaT E X documents. Users can change the list of available templates through Project Setup |
Templates Dialog. The actual contents of templates can be changed by editing the files in WinEdt's Templates folder. However, it would be nice if one could choose from more packages,
options, etc. A plug-in accessory was designed to make the task easier.
This WinEdt plug-in provides an enhanced New Document dialog box that allows the user to select a template or, if they choose not to use a template, to
select what LaT E X packages and options they want to use in a user-friendly, graphical manner. The list of templates, packages, and options can be easily customized by the user by editing the
text file user.cfg .
If you want to install the "New LaT E X Document Interface" as a plug-in for WinEdt proceed as follows:
Create a folder %B\Plugins\New (where %B stands for WinEdt's directory, f.i. C:\Program
Files\WinEdt ), download the file newlatex.zip and unpack its contents into the newly created folder.
Start the command Macros | Execute Macro... and choose New.edt . Depending on your answer, this macro updates the
Project Menu and re-defines the New Document... menu Item accordingly.

This package provides support for the "latexdiff" and "latexrevise" tools.
Open the macro file Install.edt in WinEdt, and execute it by choosing Macros | Execute Current Macro .
Open the macro file Uninstall.edt in WinEdt (also available in %b\Uninstall\latexdiff folder), and then execute it by choosing Macros | Execute Current Macro .
You can execute latexdiff and latexrevise through the corresponding commands in the Search menu or the corresponding toolbar buttons. Note that you can customize these tools through the Execution Modes dialog.
The command latexdiff asks you to select the old file to be compared with the active one. The resulting file gets opened when finished.
The command latexrevise asks you for the command line switch to use (e.g. -a , -d or -s ). The resulting file gets opened when finished.
For WinEdt 8.x, 9.x:  latexdiff_8.zip
For WinEdt 10.x:  latexdiff_10.zip
