Windows Administrator / Servers.com

Servers.com is an international hosting provider with data centers in the US, Europe and Asia. Our main product is a system for managing various hosting services. We are building a fully automated platform capable of meeting the various requirements of our customers.

We are looking for a Windows Administrator due to expansion of our team in Cyprus.

Your responsibilities will be

• Support and development of Windows VPS hosting and shared hosting on Windows.
• Support for internal Windows projects.
• Tasks automation with Powershell: support for existing and development of new scripts and modules.

We expect

• Experience with virtualization, understanding the basic aspects of hypervisor operation (Hyper-V).
• Experience with AD DS and Group Policies.
• Process automation using PowerShell: if you have a public GitHub/GitLab with code you are proud of, please share with us.
• Experience in operating server hardware, ability to diagnose hardware problems, understanding of basic RAID configurations.
• Understanding of how the modern network works, what TCP/IP is, why VLANs are needed, ability to diagnose network problems.
• Experience with a distributed infrastructure consisting of several dozen physical servers.
• Basic skills in working with IIS.
• Understanding of how to monitor IT systems: as a whole, as services, and their individual components.

Would be a plus

• A responsible attitude towards the services being supported and a desire to improve them.
• The ability to formalize tasks and decompose them.
• A level of English sufficient for listening to technical lectures, writing documentation, and communicating with vendor support.
