DEAR DEIDRE: MY wife has agreed I should be her sister’s sperm donor so she can have the baby she longs for, but she has no idea that I am in love with her sister and have been for years.
I am 45. My wife is 41. We have two boys. My wife got pregnant both times right away, without any problems.
We have been careful to use contraception since then, as we feel our family is complete.
My sister-in-law is 37. I told her a while back how I feel about her. She said she was flattered but would never hurt her sister.
Now my wife has come up with this plan for me fathering a child with her sister, I worry where it would all lead.

There are all sorts of drawbacks to being a sperm donor without proper checks, let alone all the tangled feelings you would inevitably have here.
Be firm that this is not a sensible way for your sister-in-law to find a father for a child.
Suggest she check out the information available on sperm donation, through the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority ( hfea.gov.uk ). Meanwhile, focus on strength-ening your marriage.

Please answer this simple math question.
I accidentally had sex with my wife’s sister, thinking it to be her. Her sister keeps forcing me to have sex or she will tell my wife. How do I solve this?
I am a 30 year old man. Recently, my wife and I visited her parents' home. One night, I got a very strong sexual urge and to satisfy myself I went to the room where my wife was sleeping with her sister. I slipped under the blankets and had sex with my wife. However, later on I came to realise that it was not my wife at all, but rather her sister with whom I had had sex. She had neither protested nor revealed this to me through the act, as she was enjoying it, she told me. After that episode, my sister-in-law has forced me to have sex with her on many occasions and she is now threatening me that if I do not continue to satisfy her thus, she will tell my wife that I forced myself on her. Please tell me what I can do to resolve this situation. I love my wife deeply and do not want to lose her or see her hurt. What do you suggest I do?
Turn the table on her. Tell your wife that you are concerned that her sister is hinting that she would like you to have sex with her. Tell her that she should not sleep in the same bed with her either.

One of Christine Brown 's former Sister Wives is in her corner.
The TLC star — who was in 26-year plural marriage to husband Kody Brown and his three wives, Meri , Janelle and Robyn — is opening up about her relationship with the women after leaving polygamy and her fundamentalist Mormon faith behind.
"Janelle and I are really good friends," Christine tells PEOPLE. "She's been supportive from the get-go."
For years before she announced their split in November 2021, Christine says her marriage to Kody was strained. "I needed more communication, more trust, and I realized we didn't really have a partnership," she shares.
"When I told Meri, Robyn, and Janelle, Janelle actually cried," says Christine. "That was so hard. It was not only am I deciding to leave Kody, I was leaving them as well."
Still, she adds their relationship had changed over the years.
"I hadn't been that close to Robyn, I hadn't been that close to Meri, for years. As soon as I told everybody, [Janelle] was the only person who talked to me afterwards. I didn't even talk to Robyn or Meri after that. The next time I talked to them was Isabelle's graduation party and then when I told them I was moving, that's the only contact I've had with them."
Since their split Christine has settled into her new life in Salt Lake City, Utah, and launched her solo digital series Cooking with Just Christine for TLC in February (season 2 premieres Sept. 11).
"Janelle and I have stayed close through the whole thing," says Christine, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday with a themed party that Janelle attended. "She's wonderful."
