About 10 years ago, my husband and I went to an Adult Bookstore that was behind the Planet K on Rundberg. The Bookstore, if I remember correctly, was right behind 'Bout Time. The place had a stage where a woman was dancing and you could go into a little booth and pay money to have the partition raised and you'd watch her dance. It was cheesey but fun. In an attempt to do more fun things, after 10 years together, I thought about this place but when I drove by, it looked like it was gone. So, is there any place in Austin where a couple can go into a booth and watch either a lady on stage (or a man I guess) or see a video together. I know there are booths at the Megaplex but I'm looking for something more North. Are there any of these places left anymore?? THANKS!
After doing some more web searching, I've realized I'm really only looking for a place that has a live show. Looking for cheese and fun, not other stuff that goes on in booths. Thanks again!
Peep shows like that probably don't exist outside of times square in NY, or the tenderloin in SF. You can go to a 'lingerie modeling' place - which is similar, from what I understand - but that might be full on prostitution. My girlfriend and I walked into 'The Doll House' thinking it was a sex toy shop... but there was a girl in her underwear behind the counter... might be the kind of fun you're looking for.
We used to live near one of those lingerie modeling places. It struck us a weird concept -- do people really buy lingerie, or is it just a front for a hummer factory? We never went in to check it out. Of course, you could always head down to the Yellow Rose and experience stripping as God intended it to be. But I must say, the thought of "booths in adult bookstores" makes me want to reach for the Lysol. And a Haz Mat suit.

On Saturday night, my wife and I went to an adult store. I had made it 31 years without going. The 60 year old lady there had seen some things, she was entertaining to say the least. It was eye opening, my takeaway is there are some kinky people in the world. My wife may/may not be one of them. I know, CSB.

Probably explains why the traffic has picked up so much on tOTB recently. Everybody knows all rantards are on the cusp of the barely acceptable moral and mental standards category. Now we have a place to freely express our debauchery without fear of persecution. Unless it's a pronbomb. We still haven't progressed to openly allowing those yet. Though I've noticed a trend on a delay in the time it takes for those threads to be whacked.
