Let him know just how much you admire him with these messages.
It's that time of year to celebrate all of the dads in our lives. While you'll have your hands full honoring your father, stepfather, father-in-law, and grandfather, don't forget to plan something special for your own husband. After you and the kids make him a special Father's Day breakfast and pick out the perfect gift for him , go the extra mile with one of these messages. Sure, you tell him every day that you love and appreciate everything he does for your family, but make this day extra-special by sharing a meaningful Father's Day quote from his wife . You know he deserves it!
There's no doubt a wife and mother shares a seriously special bond with the father of her children, and as a bonus, she has a front-row seat to see her DH's daddy skills in action daily. To help tell him how wonderful he truly is, we’ve rounded up 36 Father’s Day quotes from the wife that express just that. We've included sentimental (and okay, sappy) Father’s Day quotes, as well as inspirational messages that reflect on deep family connections. If he's a dad jokes kind of guy, we included some downright funny Father’s Day quotes that will definitely put a smile on his face (thank you, Betty White!). Jot one down in a Father’s Day card or use one as a caption to make it ‘Instagram official’ just how great he is (#bestdadever). However you say it, let him know the guidance, love, and life lessons he showers on your children doesn't go unnoticed.

A father was shot dead at an engagement party he attended with his wife and children in a Los Angeles suburb, according to police.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the 29-year-old victim, Edgar Rodrigues, was one of hundreds of guests at the party hosted at a large banquet hall in Northridge on Sunday. According to LAPD, as per CBS , an altercation started inside the venue but moved outside, where the victim was shot.
Rodriquez, who was identified to police by family members at the party, was allegedly shot in the upper torso multiple times by a suspect who opened fire with a handgun. He died shortly after at the scene.
Police say the suspect is a man in his 40s who fled from the scene and has not yet been caught.
Police have not released a name or description of the suspect, but reports suggest that witnesses made detectives aware of the suspect's identity. LAPD officers arrived at the scene at 11:11 p.m., after receiving reports of a man shot in the parking lot.
Police on Monday asked for the public's help in finding him. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Valley Bureau homicide detectives at 818-374-95550. During non-business hours or on weekends, call 1-877-527-3247. Anonymous tipsters can call the LA regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or use the website lacrimestoppers.org.
Newsweek has contacted the LAPD for comment.

That means the city accounted for 14 percent of the nation's total from the weekend.
In the U.S., 321 people are shot every day, according to statistics compiled by Brady, using data provided by Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project's HCUPnet. Among those, 111 are fatal.
According to Gun Violence Archive, there have been 13,943 gun violence fatalities, not including suicide, so far in 2022. There have been over 27,000 injuries caused by gun violence this year.
A 16-year-old was arrested Saturday night on Long Island, New York, after allegedly shooting a 41-year-old man at a baby shower. The victim was attempting to break up a fight between two teenage girls at the party when the attack happened.
The shot was not fatal but the victim was hospitalized with his injury. The 16-year-old was arrested at the scene by Suffolk County Police.

A concerned husband has accused his wife of having an “emotional affair” with her biological dad.
Sharing on Reddit, the man said his spouse had recently been reunited with her father after a long absence.
But since reconciling, the husband said his wife and her dad have been privately talking and texting “all the time”.

And in a “disturbing” twist, he claims to have caught them lying in bed together on more than one occasion.
Asking for guidance, the man said his wife refuses to see her close relationship with her father as anything but normal.
“Is it at all acceptable that my wife has basically started an emotional affair with her recently-reunited biological dad?” the husband asked.
“They talk/text all the time. She always leaves the room or relocates when doing so.
“On a recent vacation I found them sleeping next to each other. Fully clothed, but a bit disturbing.
“I told her that it made me uncomfortable, she claimed to understand, but apparently it didn’t mean much.
“A couple of weeks ago he came to stay, and once again they were laying in bed together in the dark - with the door closed!
“I’ve let my wife know that I feel disrespected and confused about the situation, but her stance is that it’s completely normal, and she refuses to make concession.
“I’m not the crazy one here, am I?”
The man went on to say that despite discussing the issue with his wife and her dad, she won’t back down.
Other Reddit users were quick to offer their support and opinions.
“My guess it that it could be her trying to get the father daughter bonding she missed in childhood,” said one.
“Or the need for that paternal feeling of being safe and protected.
“While I don’t agree with her approach to handling the situation with you, there is a chance she may not realise where these behavioural choices are rooted.”
Said another: “I shouldn’t make assumptions but it’s possible that your wife is having basic, fundamental emotional needs met for the first time in her life.
“Needs that the rest of us hopefully had met at extremely young ages, when lying down with a parent in the dark (for example) isn’t seen as inappropriate.
“I have no idea what they are doing but it’s possible that it isn’t inappropriate. It’s my opinion that so many aspects of reunion are bizarre because the whole situation is bizarre. Adults shouldn’t have to form new parental bonds.”
