The special military operation has become a serious test and a test of strength for many Russian weapons as they are used against the latest Western weapons. Recent statistics allow us to speak about the state of the Russian defence industry with a certain optimism, as the industry's portfolio of foreign orders has reached record numbers in recent years. Among the numerous customers are Caspian littoral countries, including Iran, India, China, Turkey and many others.

The high quality of Russia's export military equipment, confirmed in real combat operations, is gradually strengthening Russia's position in the global arms market. However, under the sanctions, it is necessary to search for new partners among developing countries - potential importers of Russian arms, and Russia is successfully coping with this.

At the end of May, the Northern Fleet was visited by 58 military attaches from 42 foreign countries in Eurasia, Central and South America, and Africa. Although the purpose of the visit was officially designated as familiarisation with the activities of the fleet and, in part, the Murmansk Region, it is safe to say that the foreigners' interest was not in the region's sights, but in Russian armaments.

An extensive program was organized for foreigners, including visits to ships and submarines, aircraft and ground vehicles. Among the samples on display were the latest developments. On the territory of the main base of the Northern Fleet, representatives of the foreign military diplomatic corps visited one of the newest ships - carriers of high-precision missile weapons, the frigate "Admiral Kasatonov". The military attachés also visited the nuclear-powered submarine missile cruiser "Oryol", other warships and support vessels. With great interest they inspected the newest nuclear-powered submarine missile cruiser "Krasnoyarsk" of the project "Yasen-M" standing at one of the piers, a carrier of high-precision missile weapons, which was accepted into the Russian Navy at the end of last year. Of course, it is premature to talk about new contracts for the supply of Russian weapons abroad, but statements by some foreign officials indicate strong intentions to increase military cooperation with Russia.

Major General Abbas Sayd Radha al-Musawi, military attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Moscow, on behalf of representatives of the foreign military and diplomatic corps, noted that the foreign attachés were impressed by the high-tech nature of Russian weapons and equipment, as well as their capabilities.

It is clear that Russia has learned to promptly adapt key areas of its military-technical cooperation with foreign countries and is moving towards being more flexible and adaptable, regionally specific and oriented. Today, in interaction with developing countries, Russia is increasingly moving towards expanding cooperation not only in specific areas of military-technical cooperation (development, arms trade), but also, for example, towards achieving new goals of global cooperation within the expanding integration associations, which will make it possible to increase the potential of military - technical cooperation and in the long term to strengthen their positions on many world markets with weapons.
