Why is it Better Than the Rest?
The ElectriQ TV from Samsung is an excellent TV, even better than the previous model that I had! The screen is amazing, the picture quality is superb, and the sound quality is excellent. There aren't any 4k problems at all!
There are actually a couple of neat features on this fantastic new television, which makes it so good. It's not so bulky, it fits in your entertainment centre box perfectly and yet there are still lots of ports to get things running quickly and easily. For example, there's a USB port, headphone jack, DVD player connector and of course, an HDMI port, which will support up to 75 foot cables. You'll be able to connect your TV to your computer as well. All this means that you don't have to carry around a lot of boxes or other equipment to get your entertainment started.
The ElectriQ TV has a built-in tuner too, allowing you to watch up to three times more programmes than you could with a regular TV or Blu-Ray player. I've seen some reports saying that the picture quality on the ElectriQ TV isn't brilliant, but this could be due to other factors such as lighting and reflections. One other thing that I really like is that it uses a UVC cable for connection, instead of the old-style analog ones that my previous TV used. As, well as the enhanced picture quality, the ElectriQ TV also comes with a host of other features. Like all good smart TVs, it comes with freeview and many channels that are accessible via the free-view channel. This can be a great way of improving the quality of your viewing, especially if you don't live in a neighbourhood where you can get both of these channels for free (and in my area, they are hardly available). Another advantage of the freeview channel is that you can now watch up to two hundred and fifty channels, which is more than the hundred and thirty channels that are available on my old TV. These extra channels are all highly competitive, so you can relax knowing that you are going to watch top-notch quality television.
My only real complaint with the ElectriQ TV was that it wasn't as easy to use as the Saurus TV. Compared to the Saurus, which sits on the table and requires a separate USB cable, the ElectriQ TV was a little bit of a pain to use. It didn't fit into my laptop bag easily, and my wife and I had to keep turning it on and off during our travels. It also didn't quite fit into our car DVD player, so we had to leave it at home and carry along an adapter.
The best thing about the ElectriQ TV, however, is that it has the most amazing built-in tuner. If you own a laptop, you don't have to worry about connecting it to your TV, because it works with any laptop. If you have a modern TV, you will need a USB connectable adaptor to hook it up, but it doesn't matter - the TV will work with any laptop. When you first purchase the TV, you are also given a one year manufacturer's warranty, so if anything should go wrong with the unit, you will not be out the money. Even better, the built-in tuner can be hooked up to more than one television, meaning that you can watch up to three devices at once!
One thing you might like about ElectriQ TVs is that they are extremely easy to set up. In fact, when you buy one, you simply plug it into the mains and then follow the instructions in the owner's manual. You won't find it as difficult as some other smart TVs, which can be rather tricky to get up and running (particularly the older ones). All that is required is that you connect the TV to a computer with an internet connection and then download the software from the company website. After that, you are ready to start streaming your favourite shows.
The other great thing about ElectriQ TV sets is that they are truly flexible. They come with a remote control, which makes it very easy to navigate through the menus - which is great for those who don't want to have to deal with the hassle of remotes every time they want to switch channels on their TVs. If you prefer to use your laptop to watch TV, you can easily connect your television to a USB port and use it as a blu-ray player, with all the same benefits that an HDTV can provide. So whether you want to have unlimited access to sports channels, or you want to be able to stream movies from websites such as Netflix or Hulu, ElectriQ's smart TV technology has got it all.
