The brakes were quick and easy to operate, but we didn't like the fact the fact that you had to put a lock in front of the seat when you are walking or running.

The Expedition's canopy is tiny and, doesn't offer much protection or coverage from the sun. Despite its flaws, the Baby Trend Expedition makes a ideal choice for parents who are on a tight budget and want an all-terrain pram. It also has other convenient features such as tray for the parent with cup holders, and an infant tray with two cup holders.
Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4
UK brand Out 'n' About has won legions of fans for its range of jogging buggies and this model is their most popular running buggy. It's lightweight and easy to steer, but also has large robust 16" wheels that can tackle even the toughest terrain. It has a fixed front wheel so it's simple to stop straight for running. However, you can also use the handlebar's lever to release it and let the wheel rotate for casual strolling or climbing hills.
The suspension is superb, especially on rocky and bumpy bridleways in the Peak District where we tested it. The only niggle was that the brake on the handlebar isn't as responsive as we'd like, and the Nipper Sport V4 can't be used with a baby carrier or car seat (although it can accept an infant insert and has a compatible carrycot for occasional overnight sleeps).
The instructions are very clear and we were capable of putting it together in less than 10 mins. The hood and the seat liner must be installed by you, but it's not difficult. It's just a matter of patience to feed the harness straps into the corresponding slits on the cushioned seat liners. There's a medium-sized storage bag located at the back of the seat but it's not big enough to hold changing bags.
The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 is suitable for use starting at birth. However, it's recommended to wait until your child is six months old before using it to run. This is due to the fact that the harness isn't tight enough to hold a newborn, so you'll need an additional carrycot or newborn insert.
