This stroller is an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It features a one-step, compact folding mechanism and can be collapsed with practically just a push of the button. It also has a convenient brake that is triggered by the foot and easy to adjust and release.
However the handle is a bit lower than many of the other strollers we tested and some parents might be uncomfortable for extended durations. It does have an adjustable handle lock that keeps it in place when opened however. This is a great feature to have in case you are going to be using the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal travel stroller for parents who are constantly in motion. The compact stroller can be folded up and down with ease and fits into the overhead compartments of planes or trunks at amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for easy storage. It can be used right from birth with the infant car seat adapter and provides a decent amount of coverage in the sun by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only drawback is that some parents consider the design to be utilitarian and cheap.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight single strollers. However, it was designed specifically to be a luxury urban stroller and for travel. It's one of the smallest strollers to fold (and includes a convenient carry case) and offers plenty of storage, including cups holder. Push Chairs And Prams is comfortable for both the child and the adult, and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used with infants using the car seat adapter. The handlebar is not adjustable and could be an issue for parents who are short.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it offers numerous great features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make those airplane naps more comfortable. The canopy that can be extended has lots of sun coverage and the tray on the front has plenty of storage. It also features a footrest with springs that doubles as a handle when it's folded. This footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.
4. Uppababy Minu V2
Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with premium design and quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction means it can withstand rough terrain without compromising your child's safety. The spring-action suspension at the front and rear creates an even more comfortable ride and its sturdy materials ensure it can withstand everyday wear and tear. Additionally it can be extended to accommodate additional items such as baby car seat.
In our testing during our testing, the Minu was easy to fold and move around even with a child in the hand. Its squat, almost square fold, that folds into thirds, is one of the most simple folds we've seen and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. It also features a color-coded single-action brake that's simple to use.
The seat reclines in multiple positions and the leg rest can be adjusted using one hand, making it easy to find your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ canopy can be lowered quite far to shield Cora's face from the sun. It is easy to maneuver, has plenty of storage space, and is not difficult to fold. It's not the ideal choice if you want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller, however. It does not accept infant car seats. Your baby must be able to sit up on their backs before you can use it.
This stroller is loaded with features and is available at a price that is very reasonable. It was awarded a higher score in our maneuverability review than other models with similar specs, and is a great option for smooth surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage including a large parent tray. The front wheel suspension is a little stiff and the handlebar is smaller than average, but it provides an enjoyable ride for adults.
