Furthermore, the majority our testers reported that their strollers folded down to smaller dimensions than their single-seat counterparts and some even came with the option of carrying a strap for carrying.
If you're looking for a versatile double stroller that will adapt to your family's needs Look no further than the Valco Snap Duo Trend. This side-byside stroller is compatible with infant car seats, a bassinet and other accessories, which means you can use it from birth to the age of preschool. Each seat is equipped with a five-point harness and an enormous canopy that offers ample shade from the sun.
The Joovy Twin Roo is another option that's highly praised. The stroller is light and incredibly compact, measuring just 22 pounds and 26 inches wide when folded. The front seat reclines almost to a flat position and the back seat can be adjusted for each child. There's a huge storage basket and an easy, one-step connected parking brake that makes this stroller simple to move and use.
The only drawbacks to the Joovy Twin Roo were minor and specific to this particular model. Kerry states that the packaging was enjoyable and clever, but that it came in five boxes which could be a hassle to lug around. She also felt that the Genuis magnetic buckle was a little difficult to master. She was pleased with the stroller at the end and would recommend it.
Storage
Strollers are available in a variety of sizes and styles, including tandems (single-file seating) and side-by-side doubles and many that let you customize the configuration using an automobile seat or bassinet attachment. Some come with rider boards for older children. They're not created equal. Some are light and easy to use, whereas others are heavy, bulky and difficult to fold.
If you're looking for a lightweight double stroller, take a look at the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Graphite. It was the lightest option during our tests. It weighs close to 23 lbs and is also simple to fold, but it has all the features parents require to have a great time out with two kids.
The Vista v2 double from UPPAbaby is another model that our testers loved. They were particularly impressed by its sleek design and ease-of-use. It can fit two infant car seats or a toddler's bassinet as well as a seat without adapters. The rear seat can be removed to turn it into a triple or quad stroller. It comes with a huge basket for storage and can be upgraded with a parent organizer and all-terrain tires, as with side storage bags.

Taylor says the one disadvantage is that it has a the largest profile when folded, and can be difficult for parents to store.
