Anna discovered that the CoZee was a safe and comfy place to sleep for her baby. She liked that it didn't move like other models so she wasn't disturbed in the night trying to comfort her child during feedings. She also liked that the side was lowered so that she didn't have to reach out over her partner to lift the baby out for feedings at night.

The CoZee is available in charcoal and oak and is a beautiful addition to the bedroom. It looks more like an elegant piece of furniture than some of the other cribs we've tried, which appear rather utilitarian. It's also quite light at 11kg and comes with a carry bag which allows you to take it on vacation or if you're moving home. The only additional items you'll require are a fitted waterproof sheet and a safety strap for co-sleeping. The instructions and images are easy to follow when you first open the box.

The Iora is a bedside bassinet that allows parents to feel more connected to their infant while they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and slides through three positions to fit beside the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room so that baby is always close to the parent's side. The mesh siding lets air flow through, and allows you to quickly see your baby. You can also put away additional pajamas or other items in the large basket beneath.

In contrast to other bedside crib options, the Iora can be folded flat and comes with a bag for travel which allows it to be taken wherever. It was easy to move around from room to space, and our mum testers believed it was the perfect size for a bedside crib. They also appreciated the large storage basket, perfect for storing nappies or other bedding items.

This is a great choice for parents looking to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but don't want to share their beds or whose partner may have mobility issues, like arthritis or back pain. Our mom testers were thrilled to be able to easily access their child in the Iora and that it had an optional reflux incline that helped to reduce gas.

Our moms appreciate the fact that it meets NICE guidelines, which are to place the baby in the crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys pillows, etc.). The mattress is also sturdy and comfortable for the baby and sheets are easy to find. It's not as light as other smaller cribs on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier for you to move around, consider a different option.
