Bean to Cup Coffee Machines
The beans you put into your coffee maker aren't just a seed, they're a world of flavor. Bean-to cup machines allow you to control the taste of your brew at the touch of a button.

Reservoir

Hot-Water Tube
It may appear simple for a coffee maker to turn an empty cup of water into a carafe full of steaming hot java, but it's actually doing amazing work. It takes the water you pour into the machine and runs it through the tube connected to the hole at the bottom of the reservoir on one side and then through the aluminum heating element on other.

This is either in the hole at the bottom of the reservoir, or in the aluminum heating tube. Without this valve the hot water would return to the reservoir instead of rising through the tube.
As the hot water drips down the sides, it imparts the flavor of ground coffee beans. The ground coffee beans absorb this water, and it releases the oils that create the flavor of a tasty cup of coffee.
Grinder
The grinder of a coffee machine grinds the beans before brewing, ensuring that the coffee is fresh in taste.
