Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is repeated. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
