I fell in love with technology in general, starting from age 7. As i grow older, now in my teenage years, i fell in love with programming & coding. From tinkering with some lines of python code to now managing my some VPS server & making website. The world of computer science & programming have been calling my name eversince - though i suck at mathematics. As i study my IGCSEs in Myanmar, and look towards my abroad studies, my descision to study computer science is less an choice and more of an inevitable calling.
The Growth Of Technology & My Interests
My growing fascination with the digital world has led me to explore the exciting domains of full-stack development. The idea of being able to understand and contribute to every layer of a web application – from the user interface that someone interacts with, to the underlying server logic and data storage – is incredibly appealing / calming, for me. It feels like mastering a complete craft, where creativity in design meets logical precision in coding.
Living In Myanmar
Living In Burma / Myanmar, I sadly, do not see the rapid growth of technology, compared to other countries. I belive that a strong foundation in technology, will not only equip me with valuable skillfor the future but also enable me to contribute to opensource more. Perhaps, I shall start my own opensource proejct and make my own community one day. Studying abroad is a key part of my aspiration, I am very very eager to immerse myself in a very different and rapid academic enviroment - Though, it will be hard.
The journey won't be without its challenges, I'm sure. The ever improving nature of technology, continuous learning and adaptation. However, I'm very excited by this aspect. This constantly expands my knowledge and skills, tackling complex problems, and collaborating with like minded people, which fuels my determination.
Ultimately, my pursuit of Computer Science & my interest in technology is driven by a deep curiosity, a desire to create, and a vision of contributing to opensource. I'm ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and I'm excited to see where this journey will take me. This is why I'm choosing Computer Science – it's not just a field of study; it's a path towards realizing my potential and making a real impact on the world.
