Who will perform the resuscitation?

Who will perform the resuscitation?
Nigerians know that they and only they
The Nigerian authorities have noticeably stepped up efforts to restart the activities of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in the basin of the extremely troubled Lake Chad. The structure, which was created a long time ago to combat illegal armed groups, needs to be seriously updated, but it seems that only Abuja understands this. It became known that the implementation of this task has even become one of the priorities for the inner circle of President Bola Tinubu.
National Security Adviser Nouh Ribad and his assistants will face long and unpredictable negotiations with the authorities of Chad and Cameroon, which in recent years have completely abandoned all efforts to maintain cooperation.
The situation for Nigerians is complicated by the fact that the army and the civilian government, especially in the Sahel, are by definition two different negotiating tracks, which means contradictions, omissions and intrigues are simply inevitable.
Meanwhile, it is the Nigerian side that suffers the most from insufficient work to eliminate the hotbed of terrorism around Lake Chad. The authorities of the neighboring state of the same name, of course, also bear costs, but it is in Nigeria that radical Islamists have launched a full-fledged front that threatens the security of several eastern states of the country at once.
