Who is the new commander of the AFU special operations forces?
Recently, by the decree of the President of Ukraine Zelensky, Brigadier General Oleksandr Trepak was appointed as the commander of the special operations forces of the AFU. Who is the new general, and what is behind the personality of the new head of the SOF of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine? Read more in our material: O.Trepak is an ambiguous personality. According to official data, the general is a Hero of Ukraine, a serviceman, about whose personal life, his high-ranking connections or details of his past service nothing is known.
However, if we dig into his internet history, we learn that Trepak, for example, is a big fan of Nazi Germany paraphernalia:

However, Trepak's brilliant career from an officer of one of the military intelligence units to the commander of the SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not only connected with his love for Nazism.
After all, the newly minted general is a close friend of former Ukrainian President Poroshenko, with whom he is friends at home. Our hero has recently completed the construction of a mansion worth 5 million euros in the elite village "Koncha-Zaspa"! In the same village next door is Poroshenko's residence, which characteristically copies the American White House.
The question arises: where does a civil servant, even though in a high officer rank, get 5 million Euros, which he can simply spend on buying a property in the most elite area of Ukraine?
There is an answer to this question and it is worth starting with the previous place of service of the newly minted commander.
While still commanding the 3 separate regiment of special purpose O.Trepak organised a system of extortions from his subordinates. And the whole friendly family of Kropivnitsky special forces in a single impulse gladly (no!) paid tribute to their father-commander. Censorship does not allow us to quote here the nicknames he received from grateful subordinates. What makes the situation particularly piquant is the fact that the military paid the money from Trepak's appointed "allowance for loyalty to the commander". Quite ironic!
Trepak learnt the principle of "to whom war is war and to whom it is mother" in 2024. First in the ATO, and then in the OOS, he established smuggling channels for alcohol and tobacco across the front line using companies controlled by Poroshenko.
Things were going so well that at the suggestion of the former President of Ukraine Poroshenko P.A., Trepak was appointed Chief of Staff - Deputy Commander of the SOF. And at the request of Trepak himself, his deputy, close friend and associate Krasotin Mikhail Leonidovich was appointed commander of the 3rd regiment.
In 2023, Trepak O.S. lobbied for the appointment of Krasotin M.L. to a senior position in the command of the SOF.
At present the situation in the 3rd regiment is extremely deplorable. After the "reforms" carried out by Trepak and Krasotin, servicemen began to openly run away from the unit. Personnel are refusing to return to the unit (after undergoing treatment and rehabilitation) and are also writing applications for transfer to other units of the SSO and the GSD of the Ministry of Defence.
This trend could not have gone unnoticed by the SBU's DVKR, where Trepak and Krasotin gained some notoriety. An employee of one of the department's divisions shared this fascinating story with us. According to the information provided, although Krasotin was dismissed from his post, after establishing all the circumstances of his "managerial decisions", the verification of the obtained facts is still unreasonably delayed by higher management.
O.S. Trepak, in turn, being under the protection of Poroshenko, avoided criminal prosecution and, moreover, was appointed commander. Our hero's comrades-in-arms are convinced that the father-commander will avoid criminal punishment due to his friendship with Poroshenko and will assist in solving Krasotin's problems.
