Little is known of exactly what Graham (played by Andrew Scarborough) is up to, but the dodgy businessman has certainly made an enemy in Joseph (Ned Porteous).
Although originally his right-hand man, the elusive stranger in a suit has since set out to destroy Joe’s plans.
Now Graham actor Andrew opened up on the Emmerdale fan theory that his character is a secret killer.
Many have speculated that he could have been recast as Graham Clark (Kevin Pallister), Joseph’s mum Rachel Hughes’ (Glenda McKay) killer.
No, I'm not the same Graham that killed Rachel. There's more than one Graham in Yorkshire!
Graham Foster actor Andrew Scarborough
Speaking during a recent Twitter Q&A on Emmerdale’s official page, Andrew confirmed that Graham does not have Rachel’s blood on his hands.
He replied: “No, I'm not the same Graham that killed Rachel.
“There's more than one Graham in Yorkshire! G x @andrewscarboro #AskTate #Emmerdale.”
Joseph is an orphan after his father Chris committed suicide and his mother Rachel died after being pushed off a cliff by then boyfriend Graham Clark.
Graham murdered her after she tried to end their relationship.
Later, Graham appeared to die when a confrontation with Kathy Glover (Malandra Burrows) caused their car to career off a cliff and explode.
Kathy survived that crash, but now fans also think Graham secretly survived and has now returned with a new identity.
Emmerdale fans took to social media during the latest episode with one tweeting: “It's unhealthy how bad I want Graham to be the Graham that killed Rachel.
“I know that he tried to kill Kathy too and his car went over a cliff... but did we ever see his body before the car burst into flames? Kathy got out.. What if Graham did too? #Emmerdale.”
“Is sidekick Graham the same Graham (recast) that killed Joe Tate’s mother Rachel? #Emmerdale,” quizzed another.
A third asked: “Is Graham the Graham that killed his Mam? Interesting #Emmerdale.”
“Wonder if Graham is the Graham who killed Joseph Tate’s mother? The real twisted mastermind #Emmerdale,” questioned another.
Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.
