So I have a theory that I haven't heard from anyone else yet and I thought I'd throw it out. The prophecy tells us Cersei will die at the hands of a younger brother. She believes this to be Tyrion and many viewers hypothesise that Jamie will eventually intentionally kill her. I think there's a third option. Cersei won't give birth to a live child as the prophecy only granted her three children. I think in a cyclical twist of fate Cersei will die giving birth to a dwarf like her mother. Only this time neither the mother or the child survive. Given Jamie is her brother and impregnated her, he will have inadvertently killed her.
I've always thought that Jamie will die to save a Stark probably Bran. Then Arya will face swap with Jamie and travel to King's Landing with the hound. She'll kill Cersei as Jamie and the hound will kill the mountain.
Lol. When thinking about Cersei's death "DEATH BY DWARVEN BIRTH!" wasn't first on my mind. Though I do think that would be fitting.
thats an awesome theory, I dont think jaime will directly kill her, I see their fates very distand from each other now after he left her, like him dying on briennes arms or something
It is confirmes that jamie will kill cersei. When witch told cersei about her children that will become ki gs and queens and they all will die before cersei. And then she told cersei that her death will be from her brother s hands.
She has two brothers tho. Jamie, and although Tyrion is her half brother, they both count as younger brothers
Just though of something after reading your post. Dying from her brothers hands. Could mean by her brothers own hands, or if they become kings, her brothers "hands" of that king. Prophecies are just so open to interpretation that any play on words would seemingly fit.
I think all the younger brothers AND sisters; Jon, Arya, Dany, Jamie, Tyrion, Theon, Yara, will kill Cersi's military and Cersi will just poison herself on the Iron Throne like she was ready to do in S2E10.
Sansa will probably state the obvious a few times and wink at one of the Jonas brother seeing how Arya got Corky from Life Goes On.
I actually had a second theory regarding this. It is possible Cersei will have the child as her armies are defeated and Kings Landing is overrun. She will kill it in the same way she planned to with Tommen and Jamie will find her and the dead child. He then strangles her in a rage, thus fulfilling the prophecy.
Great theory! Quick Google search shows prophecy says "the little brother", does it have to be Cersei's? Sandor Clegane, Theon Greyjoy come to mind, though your theory sounds way more interesting
