In a short clip uploaded to Imgur the girl, wearing a purple top, can be seen sitting on her sofa.
A small black dog sits quietly in front of her, with his back to her.
Deciding to bother the dog, the girl blows hard on the back of his head.
He turns around, and she grins at having got his attention. But she quickly regrets her actions as the dog reacts in a surprising way.
The little dog looks at her for a few seconds before deciding he isn’t happy.
He then lifts his paw and slaps the girl in the face.
Her head moves to the right and the smile disappears from her face.
The clip has gone viral online, with over 277,000 views.
One commenter wrote: “People are terrible, and I hate them.”
Another said: “Can't we all just get along? No? Oh, okay.”
One person said: “Sweet, sweet justice.”
And one wrote simply: “This pleases me.”
A man enjoying a fun evening on the beach with friends spotted a stray dog in the distance and decided to liven up the night’s events by tormenting the pooch.
The dog was minding its own business when the man decided to strike.
While his friends waited sat down, the man sprinted towards the canine and looked as though he was ready to kick it - but then something amazing happened.

A Naples, Florida, woman was caught on tape having sex with her dogs multiple times, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said.
Miranda Johns, 21, was arrested Monday on misdemeanor charges of sexual contact with an animal, according to the sheriff's report.
The footage surfaced after Kurtz Villavicencio was accused of sexually battering Johns, investigators say. When law enforcement interviewed Villavicencino, he offered his phone to an officer as proof he did not attack Johns, the report indicates. He then told the officer he had videos sent by Johns on his phone of her having sexual intercourse with her pets.
The officer in the sheriff's report said he saw several clips of Johns receiving oral sex from the dogs while she masturbated. One clip allegedly showed Johns "attempting to get one of the dogs to penetrate her vagina with his erect penis."
Villavicencio, described as Johns' boyfriend by CBS affiliate WINK News, had allegedly encouraged her to send him images of her sex acts with the dogs. She said the two had discussed the possibility of her having sex with a bigger dog, according to the report.

A pensioner who had sex with three different breeds of dogs claimed she did not realise it was illegal.
Carol Bowditch, 64, was filmed having sex with a St Bernard, a black Labrador and an Alsatian.
Her activities were exposed as a result of an RAF Police investigation which centred on a man identified as organising a bizarre sex party at which owners watched their dogs having sex with women and then went on to have sex themselves with the women.
Details of the event were later posted on an internet forum specialising in bestiality.
Ultimately the investigation led police to visit Bowditch and when her home was searched officers found a dvd and a usb stick which both contained film of her with dogs.
Victoria Rose, prosecuting , told Lincoln Crown Court "When the dvd was analysed it was found to contain extreme images. Those images portrayed persons committing penetrative sexual acts with dogs.
"Also included were images of this defendant herself carrying out sexual activity.
"Included was an eight minute and 59 seconds video of Mrs Bowditch engaging in vaginal and oral sex with a St Bernard dog named Oscar.
"When the defendant was interviewed she admitted she had penetrative sex with dogs.
"She accepted it had taken place over several years. She was unaware it was illegal.
"She identified the dogs. She said she had penetrative vaginal sex once with a labrador and twice with an alsation.
"She recalled she had vaginal and oral sex with a St Bernard."
Miss Rose said that at least eight photographs were found of Bowditch having sex with dogs and 30 moving images.
Bowditch, 64, of Evedon, near Sleaford, admitted a charge of having sexual intercourse with an animal between 13 November 2011 and 25 November 2014. She also admitted possession of 37 extreme pornographic images on 21 March 2016.
Daniel Galloway, 65, of the same address, admitted aiding and abetting Bowditch to have intercourse with an animal. He also admitted charges of making indecent images of children, possession of a prohibited image of a child, distributing 1,861 indecent images of children and possession of extreme pornography. His sentence was adjourned to a later date.
James Gray, in mitigation, said "She is 64 and has no previous convictions.
"Both she and Mr Galloway have suffered considerable public humiliation.
"They have been ostracised by their friends and family.
"They have suffered that added element of punishment which in less salacious cases would not be present."
Bowditch was given a community order with 12 months supervision and a 16 week night-time curfew. The maximum she could have faced for having sex with a dog was a two year jail sentence.
Judge Michael Heath, passing sentence, told Bowditch "What you engaged in was first of all unlawful and secondly disgusting. I am told that you have received public humiliation as a result of the publicity that this case has attracted. That does not surprise me."
