It looks like The City ‘s girl-next-door Whitney Port is getting ready to shed her wholesome image! The reality starlet and budding fashion designer announced today that she’s posing for racy men’s magazine, Maxim . “Ready to channel my sexy side!!” she wrote on her blog Thursday. “This is a pretty big deal for me because I’ve never done ANYTHING like this before. I’ve done my fair share of photo shoots in my career, but none of them were at the level of sexiness that Maxim is recognized for,” wrote the self-described “cutesy, girl next door type.” An image, it seems, that the reality star is excited to relinquish. “Doing this shoot will give me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and show people an entirely different side of me.” The City ‘s celebrated good girl will join the stylish ranks of Maxim alums like Ashley Greene and Megan Fox . L.A. native Whitney Port is a beach-loving California girl through and through.
In honor of beach season’s official Memorial Day kickoff, the blonde stunner, 27, took to her personal website to share photos of her favorite summer memories.
Among the images posted? Pics of her grabbing ice cream with pals, boating, soaking up rays–and showing off her enviable bikini bod.
At the Vans Custom Culture Contest for the Arts in Long Beach, Calif. Wednesday night, the busy reality star-turned-fashion designer opened up to Us Weekly about how she keeps up a healthy lifestyle–even when she’s traveling.
“It’s almost impossible!” Port–who is currently dating TV producer Tim Rosenman — told Us about eating well on the go. “But there are always healthy options, and I feel like I’m educated on those, so I know what to order and what to eat wherever I am.”
And if she can’t access a gym, the Britain’s Next Top Model judge makes the most of whatever space she’s in–including her hotel room.
“I try to do simple exercises, whether it’s push-ups or sit-ups,” Port shared. “I focus on keeping moving and eating as healthy as possible.”
Port says the makeshift workout space suits her better, anyway.
“I’m trying to stay outdoors and stay out of the gym as much as possible,” she told Us . “I’m working out on my own right now, whether it’s walks or hikes!”

She's enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation to celebrate another year around the sun.
And Whitney Port was making the most of the sunny weather as she paraded her fit figure in a green bikini while on holiday with husband Tim Rosenman in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico .
The 35-year-old reality star soaked up the sun with her main man by her side at the luxurious Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort on the east end of town.
Vacation mode: Whitney Port was making the most of the weather as she paraded her fit figure in a green bikini while on holiday with husband Tim Rosenman in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Whitney showcased her enviable abs in a Tori Praver two-piece which featured a silver buckle across her hip.
Her matching top featured thick straps and was gathered in the middle with a silver pendant.
The podcaster wore her bright blonde hair in natural waves and let her impressive complexion take center stage.
She later slipped on a chic Lauren Manoogian hat and covered her eyes with a pair of Celine sunglasses which she credited to finding through Rent The Runway.

Tim was ready for a day of tanning under the bright sun as he stripped off his shirt and wore a bright blue pair of swim trunks.
Whitney and Tim seemed happy for the much needed time off as they reconnected without their little boy, two-year-old Sonny, who stayed back at home in Los Angeles.
The couple were in town for a few days to celebrate Whitney's birthday, which lands a few days after a more somber time: the anniversary of her father's death.
Whitney shared that 'the days have been long' since her father, Jeffrey, died seven years ago, but she's happy to be 'feeling all the feelings.'

'I’ll be 35 tomorrow and I can’t believe it. I’m laughing, I’m crying. Feeling all the feelings,' she wrote on Instagram.
'Thinking that maybe my dad hasn’t missed the past 7 years of my life. Maybe he’s been by my side the whole time. Just maybe. And the thought of that makes me happy. I love you, dad. I live to make you proud.'
Eight months after her father's passing, Whitney announced her engagement to Tim who was a producer on her 2008 reality show spin-off, The City.
The couple tied the knot two years later, in November 2015, and welcomed a little boy named Sonny in July 2017.
So happy together: The couple were in town for a few days to celebrate Whitney's birthday
