What It’s Like to Livestream on Twitch as a Woman VICE

I haven't streamed in quite a while, I've been coming up with a few ideas for streams so I could get back into it, but is it worth it? I used to stream a lot, things changed when I moved to a different city and I want to get back into streaming while I'm still looking for jobs and trying to get my band moving. Life After Quitting Twitch Edit - I wanted to address the negative comments. I think there's a misunderstanding on the context of my post. My context = people that want to make streaming at least a side gig, with best case scenario it being a career. Haven't been able to watch properly in a month I normally can handle twitch streams on medium quality fine, and high with very minimal stuttering. But for the last month, anything above low has caused incredible stuttering. Even low freezes quite often (every 20-30 sec). I’m a firm believer that Twitch is the wrong platform for a new streamer in 2024 to start on and that only the streamers whose incomes rely heavily on Twitch should hesitate to make the switch to Youtube. If worth means getting your name out: no it's not worth, pick *any* other social media and you'll become more known than you will on twitch. (source: 120 followers in 2months on twitch, more than 250 on tiktok in 3 days). YouTube or Twitch, what is better for creators (livestreamers), simplicity for both creators and viewers, and the best overall streaming platform (Also, if there is another streaming platform that you like, don't fret to post it in the comments, let me see what alternitives there are that are better than mainstream streaming platforms). I've recently gotten back into streaming, but on YouTube. I've been thinking about going back to Twitch, but I'm honestly unsure. I have 179 subscribers on YouTube, should I continue to stream there or go to Twitch? I'm really just looking for input and opinions. 1080p doesn't mean much on Twitch. With a 6K Bitrate cap; 1080 is usually not ideal compared to 936p. In fact most streams are rocking 720p still which nobody will really complain about. A significant portion of those watching on Twitch are on Mobile with a tiny video feed or are typically tabbing in and out of a stream on PC. Higher. Apparently the trouble is ASMR isn't allowed in creative, not that ASMR isn't allowed entirely. It's a little odd if they do ban it entirely, if you can have mute/rambling/joke/singing streams I don't see the problem with a relaxing normal whispering stream, which is mostly what the stream was. I feel they should get their own category just to get irl more irl vlog type stuff but asmr is auditory and visual so they arent "not allowed" in irl. 1. [deleted] • 5 yr. ago. Honestly, its a bit of Twitch not enforcing their rules and there not being a separate category for it. Unless you want to be the wholesome in the highly sexualized industry on twitch. I personally use ASMR to sleep and destress. I have almost exclusively gone to YouTube because there aren't any genuine ASMR streamers on twitch. I had found a few but they rarely stream anymore. So i would say unless you really want to help people relax and. I classify it as some sort of fetish. People get off to soft whispers. This is my own opinion on ASMR. ASMR in a box is, it's soft sounds that's mean't to be soothing to the viewer. People who are Pro ASMR would not classify it as a fetish but I believe they are just delusional. There's a reason why its dominated by women. I feel it. Twitch ASMR female streamers. Why does these female streamers do that licking mic and make sounds of licking it's sounds so gross and yuk. Still get so many viewers and likes. Wearing or displaying BDSM-associated attire (e.g. harnesses, blindfolds, collars) or paraphernalia (e.g. whips) displayed or worn without engaging in sexual activity. Get ready for the BDSM subathons. Billy left us too soon. This is the exception guideline if you have your content flagged as sexual content. Twitch full on accepting coomer. There is a distinct line between what most streamers do and what is blatantly, non-ironically, sexual in nature. Someone having breasts doesn't mean they're trying to be suggestive. People need to take responsibility for their own emotions and urges and stop putting them on other people. 15 déc. 2024 · Failing to label sexual content can result in penalties, like warnings, but not suspensions, Hession wrote. Twitch will automatically apply labels to sexual content missing labels, and any. - Twitch’s first rule in regards to prohibited sexually suggestive content: “Content or camera focus on breasts, buttocks, or pelvic region, including poses that deliberately highlight these elements” Literally every hot tub stream is breaking the first rule when it comes to sexually suggestive content and Twitch does nothing. 13 déc. 2024 · UPDATE: On Friday, Dec. 15, Twitch rescinded the policy allowing “artistic nudity.”.
