Boosters
With an item upgrader you will be able to enjoy many bonuses. They could include a variety of stats, as well as a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons or armor, as well as trinkets. They can be used to enhance the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the level of their gear by spending money at an upgrader for items NPC. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was extended with the release of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to boost the level of your equipment, letting you to skip the grind and avoid a bunch wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is improved the type of item it is going to change. Upgrading a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional while upgrading an Exceptional item will create an Elite version of the same base item. The item will retain all of its pre-upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional bonus due to its new base type. This bonus will be randomly selected from the following: an opportunity to acquire a weapon with an increased damage range, a chance to obtain an enhanced reload speed or a chance to gain a higher max defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain by upgrading is contingent on the number of upgrades completed. Each upgrade boosts the extras in question by an increment of 1, up to a maximum of 3. Additionally, each upgrade will also boost the stat that is used to determine the main one by 1.

Some upgrades also give you additional random boosts in addition to stat boosts. These boosts can be extremely valuable and must be considered when choosing which items to upgrade. Certain of these boosts may only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs) Some are beneficial to collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap offers an additional slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are a few costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. The cost is based on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it receives and can be costly. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of the materials needed for an upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials are available in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
Upgrades to an item are an intricate process that requires time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it can take up to 8 hours. The base stats of an upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are available on a list.
Rarely, the perks obtained will cost more than one perk slot In these cases the upgrade will replace the most expensive perks. The upgrader can also make other adjustments to the item, such as changing its weapon damage type or removing an operative or unwieldy feature. The cost for these changes is based on the item's current ilvl and may require a special substance, such as the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The upgrade of an item is dependent on the chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it won't succeed. There are item upgrading to increase the chances of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity or the addition additional materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be purchased through the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of an upgrade's success by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items have however it is more reliable. This can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used three times.
It is also possible to add a variety of additional items to the upgrade, thereby increasing the chance of success. These are shown in a separate window, above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is shown just above the + button in the user interface.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version thereof, can be used to boost the chances of an upgrade succeeding. This item is useful in the event that your item or weapon is close to or has reached the highest level of its level. It allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its original state. This is usually an error, but it could also be a downgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade when you're near the maximum level of an item, and use it as an emergency.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the odds of a successful upgrade. For instance upgrading an item of equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you an increased chance of success. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.
Failure Rate
The item upgrader allows the player to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, particularly for high-end gear. Upgrades to armor and weapons can cost as much as 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. As you advance in rank, your chances of success diminish. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase the chances of completing an upgrade efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a basic upgrade that can only be applied to weapons, armor and bikes. It employs different core grades depending on the type of item. In general, items with lower grades will require low grade cores while items with higher quality will require higher priced ones.
To carry out an upgrade that is normal it is necessary to first have the proper number of cores. Once you have them click the button next to the item you want to upgrade. The upgrade window will show a percentage indication of your odds of success. The percentage is based on the level of upgrade for the item and the kind you have selected.
You can also choose a safeguard that will protect your product in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will vary however it will always be less expensive than the cost of purchasing a new item. The protection can only be used one time per upgrade and will not expire until used again.
The UI for the item upgrader may be confusing, but it's not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left side and the upgrade window appears on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI represent the different stages of the upgrade process. If you're not certain what you're doing, you can click the question mark icon to seek help. The upgrade could take five minutes.
