What should 17year olds be paying for?

I have also been given a Washington State Training Permit and was wondering basically have to be involved to my mommy's insurance before I can use her car to rehearse my driving? (I'm of legal age already) would like to learn about the insurance thing. Thankyou so much!

We have mutual physical and appropriate custody and we both live-in colorado.
