The production of industrial robots in Russia is still in its infancy, but they are already used abroad. RBC Trends figured out what Russian robots can do right now

According to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), as of 2019, 2.7 million industrial robots were operating in the world. Russia occupies only a small part of the world market: if we compose the distribution by density, the Russian enterprises employ 6 robots for 10 thousand employees, which is tens of times less than the world average - 113. Among the record-breaking countries such as Singapore — 918 robots for 10 thousand employees, Korea — 855, Japan — 364, Germany — 346. The number of robots per 10 thousand employees in different countries of the Russian market is at the stage of formation, and experts believe that this indicates a great potential for growth.
