 users are involved. For a common user, 'mining' is possible only when it is done only by will, where profit is very important. Or it can be made efficiently for profit.

Why is this called 'mining'?

The mathematical function 'hash function' needs to be known before you know 'mining'. Again, the birthday attack method can also find two messages, which also result in inn-bit, but it will require 2 s/2steps. The bigger the n here, the harder it is. This calculation is done in SHA-256 with32 or 64-bit words.
