Jabber.org

Jabber.org is the original IM service

based on XMPP and one of the key

nodes on the XMPP network, was started in 1999

and has offered

free XMPP accounts to

users continuously from

then. Originally served as

development test bench for

the jabberd server project.

After becoming more stable,

also became more popular with

end users. As of 2012,

it was a public production service

and one of the largest nodes

on the XMPP network

open, with an average of 17,000

connected users at the same time.

Jabber.org was originally run

in what is now known as

Jabberd14 , in 2006 the service was

migrated to ejabberd where

displayed this error message:
