What is being a Freelancer today?

As a Freelancer, the freelance status requires being multi-tasking, from finding contracts to writing them. The Freelancer must not only master his field but also all the ancillary parts that this status implies.

Being Freelance is also being commercial

Indeed, Freelance is also commercial! By having his own freelance structure, he must find his prospects and convert them into customers. He must negotiate the prices of his services, and draw up his own service contracts. He must also retain his already acquired customers in order to quickly reduce his prospecting efforts (which can represent a very significant amount of time!).

Being billed for his engineering services and not for his commercial activity, the Freelancer cannot spend most of his time prospecting for new clients, so client loyalty is a key element in the success of a career. .

The Freelancer must distinguish between his essential commercial activity, but for which he does not charge anything, and his consulting or expert activity that he brings and which allows him to invoice his services.
